No I would never sell my account, I don't think it should be allowed either.
I think so too, but there is no way to prevent it. : /
If they aren't sold here, they will be somewhere else. Like this, at least it's done in the open, and everyone knows about it.
Problem is that account creation and selling are what some people do for a living. Not only on this forum, on lots of others too. I firmly believe that the only reason someone will pay good money for an established account is to try and scam someone for more than they paid for the account. I don't believe the rubbish that account sellers bang on about people buying established accounts so they get accepted for signature campaigns, what a load of old bollocks.
Yes, a senior member account will get you into almost all campaigns, and receiving the maximum. More than that or accounts with trust are more likely to be used to try and scam people. : /
But while there is the incentive to do it and no easy way to stop it, it's at least good that everyone knows that it happens and that they should be careful even with older users.
I agree people are much more aware of it now and unless a user is active and well known then the use of escrow is a must with any buying or selling. I really don't believe anyone would buy an account with the intention of simply using it for signature campaigns, it just doesn't add up. For me the only reason people buy an account with status is with the intention of ripping someone off later.
Or, as a status symbol. That said, I'll sell the
Phinnaeus Gage account, currently being used as collateral, for only 20
BTC. It's the only Legendary account available on all of Bitcoinland. For only 30
BTC, I'll throw in this account and all my others (~6 total) with the exception of CoinProLite that would only be used for its intended purpose not to be posting outside its dedicated threads, and Bitcoin 100, of which would be handed over to Rassah.
On top of that, I promise to not create any new accounts with the exception of one -
- that'll be CoinProLite, et al., related, again not posting outside dedicated threads in appropriate sections.
PM me (this account) if you're seriously interested.
