No I would never sell my account, I don't think it should be allowed either.

I think so too, but there is no way to prevent it. : /
If they aren't sold here, they will be somewhere else. Like this, at least it's done in the open, and everyone knows about it.

Problem is that account creation and selling are what some people do for a living. Not only on this forum, on lots of others too. I firmly believe that the only reason someone will pay good money for an established account is to try and scam someone for more than they paid for the account. I don't believe the rubbish that account sellers bang on about people buying established accounts so they get accepted for signature campaigns, what a load of old bollocks.

Yes, a senior member account will get you into almost all campaigns, and receiving the maximum. More than that or accounts with trust are more likely to be used to try and scam people. : /
But while there is the incentive to do it and no easy way to stop it, it's at least good that everyone knows that it happens and that they should be careful even with older users.

I sell mine for 1 btc  Grin
I can sell accounts same as yours with half of your price :]]

Do you really think you could even get THAT much for it? Good luck! I'd be surprised if you could even get 0.1BTC.

I have no idea what the going rate is, but I'd sell mine ('as is') in a heartbeat if someone offered me 0.1BTC/activity point. (Presently, that's just shy of 20BTC.)

All the lowly accounts in here that say they will never sell it, that's just bullshit. I'm willing to bet that if those guys get offered a small amount of cash or BTC, it'll get sold pretty quickly.

As for my account, it'll actually never be sold, not because how long it took to build it up, but because that's just scummy activity. I believe this forum is the only one that openly allows this kind of stuff.

Yeah, I imagine they'd try take in investments somehow, though something tells me if you suddenly started up a ponzi you'd lose that lovely green feedback pretty fast so would probably be a waste of money for them  Cheesy.

Nooo! My ponzi plans have been foiled! Tongue

...

Haha. Damn, someone could probably do some serious damage if they got your account. Did the people ever make any actual monetary offers? I imagine your account would be one of the most valuable here.

I don't remember exactly, but I remember getting 'partnership requests for profit' and off the table offers in the 50+BTC region. I would imagine scammers would be much interested in using my account as a ponzi front, and that's one of the reasons why I mentioned I would never ask to borrow BTC in any form.

/start rant/
Nope. Never. And stop with the random emails about 'buying your account' too please. I've been getting offers on my account during my hiatus, and seriously I'm not even considering that for any amount of money. Especially when my real life ID, PGP, and personal dealings are tied to it.
