I will not waste time for 5 cents, it's like a faucet or paid to click, in my opinion it's a waste of time, almost all BTT users are no longer interested in faucets, except the faucet that gives high pay, not to mention the risk of data that might be stolen.
There are certain factors that keep the users away from faucets. These are some of them:
1. Low payouts: faucets can't afford very high payments, as they have only revenue incoming from the advertisements. So the average payments will be somewhere around 0.5 cents (not 5 cents as claimed by the OP). So if you continue to use the faucet for 100 days (approx 3-4 months), then you will be left with 50 cents worth of BTC.
2. Very high thresholds: you can't blame the faucets for that. It is not practical to keep the threshold low, due to the high transaction fees of Bitcoin. Not many users have the patience to wait for 4 months for the payment.
3. Viability: faucets frequently close down due to various reasons. Imagine this - an user who has visited the faucets every day for 100 days finding out that the site has closed down and his coins are gone.
