You are right that we can place a wrong bet that is not supposed to happen where the zero is more than what you intend to type that would result in betting more than what you planned to bet. My solution for that is to zoom it if possible and then check the numbers I typed before placing the bet or even when I am sending BTC to another wallet. We should be very careful about If it is about betting compared to sending BTC to another wallet. It could also help if the device's clipboard is okay.

It is best to take a little more time to observe before submitting any bet. Many times gamblers try to catch the fixed odds which leads them to submit bets quickly. That's why all these mistakes can happen. Since there is a high probability of mistakes in such steps, caution is definitely the only solution. One should never risk losing extra money in the hope of winning an uncertain bet.

talking about losing can be stressful for gamblers, just imagine how the OP felt when he bet wrong just because of 0, it hurt even more and maybe he will never forget that mistake. luckily the OP only has a balance of 0.005 what if 0.5 and he wanted to place a 0.05 bet but entered the wrong 0.5 bet, it will stress OP out and maybe he will leave gambling for a while.
I myself have experienced this error although not a large number, but I can't forget it and will always remember it anytime.

That sad thing is you end up with an empty wallet because of that. We already know it doesn't solve the problem but it can make us even more stressed when we lose. That's why I always bet with limits to prevent bigger losses. Only by controlling ourselves is what we can do and stop immediately before everything gets out of control, resulting in the loss of all the money we have. And never keep too much money in your account because that can trigger the thought that you still have a lot of money and gambling one more time would be okay.

Often happens to me especially when the slots got an error while I am spinning. I often bet at the minimum amount, when some slot encounters an error they return to their default amount of bet which is either $1 or more. Being out of mind and thinks that the bet size will stay the same after refreshing the page, I often set auto spin without checking the bet size. Then boom, I found my bankroll got depleted easily.

Placing wrong bets is a new level of stupid for me man, but hey let's give you the benefit of the doubt, it happened to me a couple times anyway. In times like that I huff a bit of copium and say to myself "I would've lost that bet even if I made the correct bet anyway", especially for games with multiple outcomes. It hadn't happened to me in sports games, and I'm pretty sure I'd feel a little more mad and upset about it if that would be the case since in most sports there are only two outcomes, either your team wins or they don't. Just imagine losing a bet because you made one for the wrong team man, that must have sucked. In any case, these are all the more reasons for everyone to be a little more aware of their clicks on the internet, that way you don't lose precious money and sanity in the process.

Actually, I want to do that because it never happened to me. That kind of loss will be remembered by yours and when the price of bitcoin goes up, you'll do the calculation on how you've lost at that value. It does happen sometimes for someone who's too excited and haven't checked the figures if the ones being entered is the correct one. You can correct that mistake and will sure be one of your things to avoid for your next bets to come.

Unless if you are really that expecting to lose and accepting that you are bound to lose then it would really be not that stressful. Speaking about errors and mistakes about betting then

Yeah, some of us just gamble to stay away from the stress that we might have that week or that day. It's just that it was a big accident on the part of OP, and we can't blame him for making that big mistake as I also experience that kind of betting in the past.

And I will say that it's human nature to make that kind of mistakes not just in gambling but in our life itself. It's just how we are going to learn and not to make that blunder in the future.

Personally, I have never experienced such mistake, possibly because I am always very careful when typing in bet amount, I type it in, then crosscheck it again before hitting the confirm button.

And again, to avoid mistakes like this, is one of the reasons why I prefer to gamble in usdt instead of bitcoin or any other coin, to achieve this, I usually withdraw my weekly payment out of stake into an exchange where I convert it to usdt, then deposit usdt back into stake and play as much as I want until my bankroll turns zero.

Or you could also switch to betting in usd worth of coin(bitcoin for example) and not in the coin's worth itself, this I believe would help avoid mistakes as this.

Lol, it could have been even worse if you had a balance of 0.05 and used it all wrongly in a single bet.
So pay attention when you are gambling and making transfers. Pay attention when using cryptocurrencies.
Fortunately I haven't made any such mistakes yet because I make sure to look at my amount every time I make a bet or transaction.
This is what everyone should do as it can save us from doing such blunders.
