I've refined my shipping process and as a result I have lowered my shipping prices for these coins.
Got my set in today, the quality is great and they are some of the finest 1oz coins I've seen so far that don't come with a hologram.

I got a nice delivery recently, I very much like the coin. It is very reflective, the gold accents are nice, and I like the idea of a btc/silver eagle type coin.
I will add it to my collection.
Received mine today, I love the way they look. And no one else said that for the gold highlighted ones, it is highlighted on the outer-edge of the coin which is pretty neat The package came in a standard 4 by 6 envelope that was glued and taped shut and the coins were individually bubble wrapped

It just hit me that these dont have a spot for a private key or hologram really. Is there any particular reason why you made coins that could not be loaded?

One thing that has bothered me about Bitcoin is the lack of traditional bullion options. Most Bitcoin themed coins highlight logos from their manufacturer or are meant to be used as Bitcoin wallets. I wanted to create something that could be updated annually, and fill the role of a traditional style coin such as an American Eagle or Chinese Panda for the Bitcoin community.

I would assume he's marketing these towards silver stackers/collectors, but the price is too high imo

If you can get your prices closer to spot price I'd be interested, the premium is way to high for a private minted round for silver collectors in general, just my two cents

Thanks. The mint told me that they were very pleased with the result of the gold plating. I will see for myself in a few days.
The first batch of "goldies" was limited to 100. While I expect I will see future batches, due to the additional steps, time, & cost required to do the gold select highlighting, I suspect they will remain more limited than their all silver counterparts.

The gold highlighting has been completed and the coins are being shipped back to the mint for quality checking and final polishing. I should have pictures next week, but I'm told that they are very pleased with the final result.
Excellent. I can't wait to get these. I'll likely buy a few more once I receive my set. I need to pick which one I like best so I can buy a roll.
