I'm just checking my coin in the analyzer, and it says it is "inactive" and doesn't appear to have been receiving payouts.

I thought minted seats were supposed to continuously receive distributions, and aren't subject to inactivity policies.

Is there something I'm missing or some action I failed to perform, or could they have forgotten to be "activated" by any chance?

You'd have to ask naypalm about the analyzer site.  There is no "active" or "inactive" status for Minted Seats so I have no idea what that is referring to.  If you provide a link I'll take a look and see if I can figure out what he could mean, but as long as you have a Minted Seat, it's active.  There is nothing you have to do and no way to deactivate it.

Actual information about seats is here: https://nastyfans.org/mint.json (this is where naypalm gets information for the analyzer, but I can't vouch for what he does with it)

As for distributions.  It's a community organization.  It will receive distributions based on what NastyFans receives, as donations are from real world activity.  If people spend their time bashing the club and not supporting those who try to raise donations for everyone's benefit, then obviously distributions will suffer.  This has been the case recently.  As always, if there's ever anything I can do to support those who want to grow this community organization, I'll go above and beyond to do whatever I can to help as I always have.  At some point I would think people will stop shooting themselves in the foot and work together to help the oldest publicly traded organization in crypto reach it's full potential, but you never know what an internet community will do...  For now people appear to prefer to bite the hand that feeds them, but I'm not going anywhere.

it will take decades for them to reach maturity. I have had mine for years and and still under 1% towards required amount to get a payout. You need .001 accumulated (per seat) to get a payout. I am at .000059 per seat.

I’ve been contacted by someone looking for a gold highlighted 2oz round for sale. If anyone has one they’d be interested in selling, feel free to post a price you would accept to sell yours or feel free to reach out to me privately and I can put you in contact with the buyer (or maybe they would like to post here?). Thanks!

I wanted to point out that currently these coins are priced in USD and the BTC price is adjusted to reflect that. With coins being tied to seats that are backed by BTC, it makes these coins a ‘better’ deal as the BTC price rises. As the price gets higher I’ll have to adjust the price formula to rectify this at some point before these are selling at a loss, but for now it makes the premium on all Minted Seat coins lower than they have been historically.

Where can I find out how many coins are in circulation and how many are left for sale?

Today I received a similar question via PM so I thought since I took the time to find the information I would post it here.  Smiley

There are currently 149 of the 2oz all silver coins left for sale in the NastyShop.  This is out of a total of 225 all silvers.  There are also 25 with gold highlighting that have all been sold.  This information is publicly available here: https://nastyfans.org/mint.json in case anyone wanted to be able to figure this information out on their own in the future.  As always, they can be purchased here: https://nastyfans.org/mint

You can check at: https://analyzer.nastyfans.org/

That site is run by the forum user naypalm and I’m not sure how up to date it is since I haven’t spoken with naypalm in some time, but it’s probably fairly accurate. It gets the data from https://nastyfans.org/mint.json which is provided by nonnakip and kept up to date, so if you looked at the coin type for the 2oz rounds and counted them you would get an accurate number. According to naypalm’s analyzer 100 of 250 have been sold. That leaves more remaining for sale than all other minted seats rounds combined.

I agree.  As an owner of several of these 2oz coins, that is truly the coolest one.   I’m one of the few with the 2oz gilt version.

As long as you don’t read the coin too closely it’s basically indistinguishable from the 4oz platinum round. Smiley

It’s always a surprise to me that these coins have the most unsold remaining while being the favorite of so many, myself included. Good luck for those late to the party that still want iconic collectibles I guess. Wink

Grab yours at https://NastyFans.org/mint

Whenever I get an order that includes one of these 2oz silver coins and get to bust them out to do some engraving, I realize just how awesome these 2oz rounds are.  They really are my favorite coin that I've made.  The design and size are perfect for this application.  If you don't own one, I'd consider scooping one up to see for yourself.  There's a reason why this was the design that was chosen for the 4oz platinum and 4oz gold rounds (and the fact that the size made it a perfect fit).  While not everyone wants to drop down the $ for the 4oz platinum version, it is nearly indistinguishable from this 2oz silver version, so if you squint you can't even really tell the difference other than the weight.  Just tell yourself it's platinum.  Smiley

That's really cool to see! I didn't know about the YouTube channel. Really great to see mining being done with renewable energy!

Thanks. You can follow me on Twitter as well for the latest and greatest. @NastyMining

It has been a while since I’ve posted anything exciting but maybe that will change once I receive my Cybertruck.

Will do! I'm a Tesla fan as well and have a Model 3 Dual Motor. Now if only I could get that thing to mine Bitcoin when idle Cheesy !

Thank you very much! I love the detail in the hologram and the fact that the public address is etched into the coin. I wish I could have gotten in on the gold highlighted version. Those look extra nice!

Great pics. Thank you for posting them. You can see the engraver in action here: http://youtu.be/uLUKXpaAlHM

If I remember correctly the 2oz gold highlighted rounds were some of the harder to find coins but they’re out there. I’m sure one will pop up for sale here eventually.

How do I link the seats to my account on nastyfans.org?

Send nonnakip a message with the coin’s public address and your NF account username here: https://nastyfans.org/post

You can find your address and copy it from here if that makes it easier: https://nastyfans.org/mint.json

Engraving one of these coins for a buyer today and I really must say that they are exceptionally beautiful.  Easily my favorite silver coin that I've ever done.  I'm planning to give a few of them away with an upcoming giveaway to NastyFans members and will post more information once everything has been formalized.  Until then, if you're looking to spend some BTC at the all time highs, these coins aren't a bad way to do so.

That was for me! I received it today and it is indeed exceptionally beautiful! I'm happy to add it to my collection! Thank you!

Don’t forget to stock up on some of the classics while the Bitcoin rate is at all time highs! I really am fond of the size of these 2oz rounds. Great addition to any precious metal or physical crypto coin collection. Smiley

How do you know what year the binary rounds are from?  thanks Og

This isn’t really the right thread for this discussion, so I went ahead and answered your question with the below linked post. Thanks for your support and enjoy the binary rounds!
