Won't there be thousands of GPU's coming offline at the same time? Might slightly dampen the rise in diff.

GPU mining is dead and won't impact much compared to the half million asic chips that drop in august.

At the present difficulty, avalon can only dig 1.6-1.8 BTC.
ONLY

^_^ Yup. People want money printers without spending money.
+1

To be fair this money printer is running out of ink.  It made more than 4 btc just a few days ago and it's quickly screetching to a halt as 1/2 million avalon chips get attached to BKKCoins PCB's.  OP has a reason to imply it's a money printer but the truth is that the diffculty curve is headed straight up making machines like this worth less and less by the hour.

I forgot to add his famous "You're everything that's wrong with this world", that seems to work too!

Oh, you prefer non-capitalism.  And why are you in a thread about buying a money printing machine again?

Huh?? You read me wrong.  I am all for capitalism.  Love it..

So I'll make you an offer...."

I don't put any words in people's mouths, hence the brief OP. We all know the deal, we all have our investment strategies and outlooks. And you do have a vested interest in keeping other buys away and the price low Wink

there is much time until 28th.

simple solution:
only Members can bid, if a new member want to bid he has to make a deposit.

Is this the rule? If so, how much is the deposit, and where does it get sent?
Its not the rule as of now. Unless there are strange bids nearer the end.

interested, but not with:

I reserve the right to withdraw this auction or sell by pm/blind bid.

I would much prefer to create a binding auction, however there are few things that would prevent this in the current market:

1) People like PM offers. They want privacy, and offers are often time sensitive.
2) Without a deposit, we wouldn't know until after the auction who is willing and who isn't. I wouldn't want fake bids bidding up the amount, nor having a final bid which isn't binding.
3) I would much prefer not to have to rerun an auction due to non-payers, and hence to save a binding catastrophe of next best offers, I add the clause to prevent a mess.

I do.

I bid: 103 BTC.  I would like escrow since I don't trust you.  Nothing personal
Not a problem
