It's not a scam attempt for sure, it would be pretty an idiot move in all honesty.

If I remember correctly he stated about health issues, it must be this case.

Hello to All,

Unfortunaly I can't say the same for my experience with J4bberw0ck himself.
Since My first post to find a way to contact him on january 18, I send him a pm here on 20, following the instructions of HagssFIN, and get in touch with him on 21.

Then I wait until january 27 for him to come back to me with the precise quote and ways of payment accepted; I made the payment of my order that same day via Paypal.

From this moment, I never heard again for him, althought he told me that all my order was in stock (5 common slot board and 30 cables 60cm).
I have try to know what's going on by sending him multiple messages from here, to his personal mail, and by phone message, but no way, No Answer!

If you follow the story, it's been 14 days now from the payment that I not have any news from J4bberw0ck and of my order.

From what I've read here, J4bberw0ck not seems to act like that usually, but what should I think when after 2 weeks and several mails, I still have no news from the guy?
And for me, the methods are very similar to what scammers do.

My last message to him was yesterday in which I was telling him that without any news from him in 24 hours, I will fill an complaint at the police department and report this order as non deliver in Paypal then let all the community know how J4bberww0ck now act with the clients.

That's said, I'm not excluding that something can going wrong on his side (health, family, business, etc), but man, we doing business; I'm loosing money with that order who is not arriving and he takes the cash so no matter what, he needs to get his client informed.

So Please, Let me know what do you think should I do?

what an idiot !

i & many here would vouch for J4bberww0ck, i've purchased over USD 1000 from the man.

he delivers & if you know how to READ, he's definitely busy with his 3rd daughter. imo family comes first.

be nice. just be patient, he will come back to u.

Electrical engineer. Mining since 2014.
Hello Everybody,

I'm new posting here but not new to bitcoin.
Is there anybody out there who knows how to contact jabberwock to buy some of his great boards?

I know there's Holybitcoin.com selling the products but since I'm living in France, it makes sense that I buy its directly from jabberwock himself since he's french too.

Thank in advance for your answers.

Keep Mining!!!  Wink

Congrats Smiley

Thanks, I'll try to get a few hours of sleep before mother and daughter come back home tomorrow.
Our girls always woke us up multiple times per night because they needed feeding, diaper changed, bathing because the diaper leaked...
So I'm trying to get some rest while I still can.

Limited time discount until the end of 2016 to celebrate the birth of my third daughter.

Any order will get an extra 10% discount no matter what the quantity is.
Orders over US$ 600 will also get a 60$ discount on shipping cost. That will make free shipping on most large orders unless you order cables or live in some exotic country where shipping cost is really high..

Orders will probably need an extra 3-4 days processing time since I'll be quite busy with my family.

I even offered you to start a personal and company cohoperation, because I trusted your person and expertise, creating for you a portal in EU to support actively your products. We've talked about that here on the forum and on skype, I/you can publish screens if you wish. I give you my auth.

The other photo you've sent me, probably a month later (I don't remember, you should know the exact date), it's about the adapter on the motherboard that I've mentioned before. It's another thing that, frankly speaking, I am not even interested to, due the thermal needs and electrical potential issues on the other components (and even incompatible with my current designs).

I suppose that you're correctly referring to me, but I haven't received any kind of project from you. I am open to publish the conversation, given the fact that I have nothing to hide.

About the possible patents of my company:

- a new tipology of PCIE 16x riser
- a new tipology of cloud computing 16X motherboard interface placed in front of the chassis, and powered by another key element
- a new tipology of power delivery based on server PSUs, that will be able to power on, with ease and reliability, all the other components in my designs
- a new tipology of PCB to support the heat managements of the chassis that I HAVE designed

Do you see anything yours? These products will be offered in my systems, in my farm. I don't even know when and IF I will resell them outside, probably not.

Be careful with your statements, it's not professional to behave like this with your potential customers.

Now that you're back, we could have a talk on skype and clarify this accident. I'm a diplomatic person, open to cohoperate with a positive approach, and common interests. As I said before, welcome back.

Just to be clear, I didn't say that you took my idea and wanted to patent it. I'm sorry if it's what you understood.
As I said, I like your full assembly idea, and I believe the market for it is larger that you may think.

I was just pointing out that if your boards aren't new enough compared to what is already offered by me, others or my upcoming boards (DC/DC converter and PCI-E riser), there is no point trying to patent them.

The concept of the boards can't be patented, you need to use them in a new way nobody did before to be able to patent them.

And I'm not just speaking about my boards, but others breakout boards and the enclosures too.

We are anyway aiming at different markets and may be complementary, so I can't see why there could be an issue here.

Again, sorry if I was misunderstood, I would have made it all private if I had such a problem with you.
And I wouldn't have used a smiley in my first message Wink

Also, thanks for not posting the pictures publicly, the project is still in progress and both boards should be released soon.

Well, a phrase like that have got a few possible interpretations.

Given that I haven't received anything from you in the form of hardware, PCB projects or anything like that, a form or collaboration of any kind implies mutual respect, another thing called honor and coherence. I respected your person, your activity and your products and it's evidence it's shown before, to be precise in my initial offering. The patent thing it's related to a complex product and it's too early to talk about it, due complex arguments that sincerely requires other locations and eventually NDA agreements. If you click in my signature you can even find a photo of a PCB product designed by my electronic team, it's all trasparent and crystal clear (and it has nothing to do with the products that you had in March 2016, when we talked about a potential purchase of some of your products)

I have never robbed anyone in my life (physical or virtual property) and I've got a total respect of the other's work, so please keep in mind that the use of a correct terminology it's necessary, if you kindly ask to be treated in the same manner.

You're telling me in this moment that you are developing a dcdc converter. Even a riser? That's nice to hear, and I wish you the best for both of them but in March 2016 you hadn't anything like, or at least nothing that I was informed of/seen/possessed. I could be even interested, now, to purchase them and start an integration with you in my projects, present and future ones, for a direct resell or mutual use (with your credits/links/agreements/obligations/patents/licences/NDAs/whatever), obviously if they fit my needs and designs. It's called free market, mutual cohoperation and affairs. This means that you can do the same with mine, obviously, but being respectuful of the conditions and rules that we may create Wink.

My aim btw it's mainly personal use, the only reason behind these kind of designs from my company it's an electronical indipendence from china. Given that I am in need of a very high amount of PSUs, Risers, cables, chassis, converters, PCBs of a particular kind (that now simply don't exists), I need to build them directly.

It's pretty easy to understand, and frankly speaking it's the main reason. Such solutions won't surely be cheap to produce, I cannot and won't compete with china due the impossibility to compete with that kind of labour payment standards. The unfortunate thing is that I want a product better than that, because of I need to create something unique for my own, with the lowest possible failure rate.

A patent it's a complex thing, and it needs to be done in certain occasions, if the conditions are met without going against rules. That's what I told you, indeed. Different markets and complementary ones, my offering was quite clear.

If you've got something interesting to sell, I am ready to evaluate them; you mentioned DCDC's and risers, let's talk about them privately. I'm a person that believes in honour, words and shaking hands, and I like to create not destroy Wink. If you want to publish my, 7/8 months old, messages, as I said I give you my authorization. All of them, so all the others would have the absolute certainity of my statements.

I've got absolutely nothing to hide and I want that this point it's perfectly clear, I take all my legal responsibilities for that. I accept your apologies, and I thank you for that.

As I said before I could be interested in some solutions, so I suggest you to contact me by email (send me a pm with your email, because I don't remember it)

ps: about the photos, I don't share something without authorization, and given my interest, as stated before, I hadn't even any Wink

hey guys, looking at getting these for my gpu miners.

Is there any chance of a breakout board that Has ATX and cpu connections on it? would rather use one psu rather then one for mobo and one for the gpus.

Cheers

It's pretty evident that you have literally no clue about what a server PSU means Wink (no offense, but you need to think about it)

What you requested it's technically impossible, they simply don't exist.

You need to convert the voltages from +12V to obtain +5, +3.3, +5VSB, PSON and so on.

This sector it's too hard for the casual investor

Now THAT would be SUPER SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET   Grin

Let's say that I'm working on it, the prototype works. The main issue, for you, is that they will be patented and inserted in my solutions (in my farm Wink ).

Later on, after the patent, it will be on the markets (I am thinking of lending the machines directly in the farm, like a sort of cloudmining but with real equipment. Too early btw to give details. I haven't got time even to breath  Grin)

I hope you didn't use too much of the info I sent you earlier this year Wink
Since the principle of my boards was made public to a few people, it can't be patented (I don't speak about my regular already released boards)

But your main idea is good, I'm sure there is a market probably larger than what you think for the global solution you are planning to offer

Hi Jab

To what kind of infos are you referring to? I've contacted you a lot of time ago (march 2016) to order from you daughterboards for a dps1200 unit, never paid and never received due your personal issues (I even contacted first your USA reseller, didn't even know that you were from france). I wrote you a lot of times and didn't receive reply in the later stage of conversation on skype. I've just heard, here from your post, that you're back on track and I wished you a prompt recovery. I am sorry for your health problems but I can assure you that have been a common thing even for me, there's a reason for the delay in the production of my units from feb 2016 until now (and a very important one - cancer )

I am working on a DCDC converter with proprietary PCIE risers, not a daugherboard (that It would even be useful now as a separate component in my projects - IF compatible with them, and I repeat IF - , you can ask to another guy in the US that it's building them - that I contacted a week ago due personal needs. I need to reply to him btw, this week have been very busy for me).

Do you build converters on the secondary, PCIE risers and Fans PCBs? Not, sorry.

In all honesty I would have liked a private reply, not such a veiled public accusation based on nothing, given the fact that I never received any project from you if not a couple of photos of irrelevant importance (it was a PCB for another thing, that I suppose you never built. If I remember correctly an adapter that would have been placed upon the motherboard). You disappoint me and you should sincerely apologize.

Proof of my statements, conversation of the 20th of march 2016 ... (20 march !)

I've checked your thread and I would like to purchase some units for testing purposes. I would like to utilize such server-grade psu's to power on just the video cards and the powered risers. Instead of 6 pin male endings, I am seeking for 6+2PINs.

Have you got anything like that? If not, I would purchase some models from you, I want to evaluate this solutions. If they fit my needs, I will buy more. Have you got a site here in the EU region? .. We could create, later on, a cohoperation in this matter. I could be interested in a reselling partnership with you, given my future need, or even custimization of breakout boards.

I need these elements, right now (testing purposes):

- 3x PCI-E to USB and Molex HDD
- 4x HP 1200 Watt Common Slot PSU with breakout boards and long 14/16AWG cables (eventually modding them to 6+2, that's why 14AWG)
- every type of DPS-1200 FB A breakout boards, that you built.. if possible (only XL or other kinds? Can I refer to the US website?)
- 30x 6 pin cables and 30x 6+2 cables http://holybitcoin.com/product/single-pci-e-cables/
- "200x 0.20$ 6 pins connector (have you got PCIE 6+2 or PCIE 8?)
- would you be so kind to send me a pohoto of this? "0.04$ the crimp pin" https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bladecenter-h-2880w-breakout-boards-selling-from-stock-limited-time-discount-893159

I am planning to build a platform with 6 or 7 R9 390, so this means that I will need at least 7x8pin and 7x6pin connectors. In the meantime also a platform with 7x R9 NANO, with a single 8 PIN connector. I should set in parallel 2x1200W DPS-1200 FB A, and another ATX PSU for the other components (Motherboard, hdd and so on).

Have you got any suggestion, even regarding AWG sizes of the wires? I would like to purchase long ones, maybe 50% 60cm and 50% 90 cm ones.

"Pricing for 16 AWG cables with plug at both ends will be as follow:
My home made cables are using 1.5mm² copper wires.
according to tables, 16AWG is 1.31mm², 15AWG is 1.65mm²

Price for those will be
2.5$ for 24"/60cm
4.0$ for 36"/90cm"

Here's my email, please let's have a talk.

If you've got skype we could have a talk directly, I would appreciate that if possible.

Kindest Regards

Hi, Sorry for the very long delay answering, but I had some health problems.

I'm now back for god it seems.

regarding your needs, I believe I have exactly what you are looking for that is almost ready (I'm waiting for the first prototypes next week).

.. link to a photo of a daughterboard for the pcb that I wrote; I have opted to solder them to some models, so I won't need daughterboards for the initial limited testing batch. I will in the future probably, I was planning indeed to integrate one and that's why I kindly asked you (without success).

It'll use the Common Slot power supplies (DPS1200FBA silver or DPS1200FB1 platinum).
12 PCI-E outputs, 2x 8 pins CPU, 2x SATA and 2x Molex IDE on the daughter board.

Each PCI-E output can handle a cable with two 6pins PCI-E connectors or one 6 pins and one 8 pins as long as you don't draw more than 240w total.

BTW, I'm in France, and in the Alps (Chambery from time to time for vacations), so we aren't too far away.

Holbitcoin is my North America reseller, so anything he have in store with my brand, I have it in Europe.
As you noticed, I can also make custom boards/cables.

I even offered you to start a personal and company cohoperation, because I trusted your person and expertise, creating for you a portal in EU to support actively your products. We've talked about that here on the forum and on skype, I/you can publish screens if you wish. I give you my auth.

not, custom models+pcbs. BTW as I said they won't be available any time soon, so don't bother.

It could require even more than 13 month to a public release, we haven't got the needs to resell them at this stage. We're in short even of our chassis, due company use..

As soon as I'll have news I'll report them.

My best wishes to Jabberwock for a fast recovery. He's a good guy

I have over 18 x IBM 2980 Platinum and 15 x IBM 2880 Silver

That would be a larger board for sure on the IBM 2980 and 2880's.
