A common business principle is the customer is always right.
You had a sale which you cancelled because the buyer was sceptical of your new account after you hadn't replied immediately. He may have been blunt but his post was just a misunderstanding. Not sure why you'd cancel the sale because of that. Business is business. I'm sure the buyer was a nice bloke who just jumped to a conclusion too quickly.
