Its worth the 5G, hard as that is to believe, other major exchanges will probably want it too. Its all legal issues for the $5000, unless you want everything seized by u.s. gov't, its the price of doing business with the big kids, that or hopefully stay under the radar, gambling and dividends is going to cause these kinds of things to get noticed  by the powers that be unfortunately.

I love NACHOS
Hi everyone, as you all know it's been a very crazy few days for all of us.

We hope the downtime was not an issue for anyone and if it was please accept our sincere apology. We have a few things we want to update everyone about so we’ll take this time to do just that.

Bittrex
We have been in touch with Bill from Bittrex, so special shout out to all of our supporters who reached out to him. There are some concerns that Bill has before we are listed and we are looking to start the process to get him all the information he requires to the best of our ability, but this won't happen overnight and we expect it to be a long drawn out process. He is also asking for a $5,000 (USD) compliance research fee. A fee of this size for an exchange was never in our budget so now we are going through the finances to see if this is even feasible at this time. We hope to have more information on this matter in the next few weeks.

Back End Development / Maintainence
We've been preparing a lot over the last few days for swift integration of the new UI (it's being developed independent of the infrastructure). As you know, we recently did a maintainence to include the match format within our current system - this was something that we intended to do eventually with the new system but saw the immediate need to include this; This relates a little to the section right below this. We're still in the process of working on things such as the notification system so we can ensure matches aren't stuck as "Live" for very long after they've already been completed in the real world. More news will be available on this as development progresses.

Forum Drama
We want to clarify our stance on a few issues that have happend of recent.

philakone and the draw-bet dilema
This is the offical statement we have issued to him in regards to this matter.
Quote
Hey, I have discussed this with the team and can now offer you a response. It is important to note that while we agree it is inconvenient for a user that the match format was not being previously displayed, users should be encouraged to only gamble of matches they are knowledgeable about. As this is the case you were not forced to bet on side A/B, but could have bet on a draw and chose not to so the fault lies with you and your research. While $12 is a small amount, refunding you your money sets us up for a bad track record of more people complaining in the future when they bet irresponsibility and dislike the outcome.
We encourage users to use their own resources to research the matches they bet on. As our platform progresses, we will be able to display more of the information directly on our site (team performance, trends, etc.) but simply because we don't display this information does not justify blaming us for how you (the user) chooses to bet.

It seems to us that philakone has the best interest of GameBet at heart and it is not our intent to start a witch hunt again him.

UI Development
Here's a sneak preview of what's being worked on. We cannot stress enough this is a preview we know that things are missing, it's still being developed

What are your initial thoughts on it? We'd love to hear some feedback, as we're considering splitting sports to a seperate part of the site (information will be laid out the same, but color scheme/images will be different).

Perks / Early Investor Rewards
G2A has been taking longer then we anticipated to process our bulk Steam card purchase. If we do not have the Steam cards by friday (4/22) we will look to issue the other perks (SS, refferral %) - things such as name color will come with the new UI design when we have the chatbox.

Bounties
Bounties we have issued in regards to translations were documented as fiat amounts (i.e. $20) therefore when paid they are paid using the current value of GBT @ coinmarketcap.

In conclusion (and the big announcement..!)
Given our estimated time line, we had thought we would have the new UI developed as well as integrated among other features by mid June. and this is when marketing would begin. However, recently John, Sergey and I have sat down and went over where we're currently at in terms of progress and we are anticipating everything will be ready by mid May. It is possible with the rate we're progressing that it may be even sooner than we're currently estimating now. If wasn't clear, at the start of this project John and I resigned from our "real life jobs" and have been pouring all our time and attention into this project every day.

A bright future is not too far off in the distance, thank you all for your continued support - without it GameBet would not be progressing at the rate it currently is.

5k is mentally challenged shit. This is a joke right? Where did Bill tell you that it would cost 5k. Was it in a trollbox, email, phone call? It must be a mistake. Maybe he meant to say 500. i dont see how they can have the nerve to ask for 5k. we should all start tweeting to bittrex letting them know that we wont be bullied into paying their extortion fee.

Haha $5k for compliance review.  Daily they are trying to hold you up.  I for one am not worried about the exchanges.  "Build it and they will come."  Seriously I vote to take as much of the ICO money as possible for marketing/site development.  Build the business.  Price will follow the business....not which exchange it's on.

As for the UI it looks great.  I for one will be interested to see the sports side of things as well.  Keep up the good work bro.

You better pay up if you want to go to the moon! 5k is small amount soon when 1 gbt is  traded for 5$!

Bittrex isn't even a top 10 exchange. If it was $5k for Poloniex I could get onboard, but Bittrex? Hell no.
hey scam finder do you know this one.

what do you think ?
btw bittrex is involved

100% scam, and not even a remotely good one. No whitepaper, OP involved in previous scam, noob account, locked thread. GG, no re.

Yup. Their twitter is down: https://twitter.com/edoncoin

Facebook down: https://www.facebook.com/edoncoin/

Somebody please go on bittrex (i don't have an account) and tell the chat to watch out for their ICO. It infuriates me to know scammers do it in plain site.

Great update Dailymodo, as always! The UI is pretty sweet indeed. I also agree with the others with regards to paying $5000 to Bittrex for a damn listing. Insane. Don't do it, just seems like a waste of resources that could be spend way better. In any case, they would want GBT listed as time progresses anyway. Keep up the good work, it has been a long time since I have been on a BCT thread where the Dev engagement was of this high quality. Top notch, good times ahead for everyone involved.

I trust everything jibble says. 700 activity + smart man. He's absolute right.

These guys should be GRATEFUL for the business.

lol thanks for the compliments , but don't go that far in compliments Tongue . It's part venting , part over exaggeration in a mocking tone towards them on the interviews and working people hunting down the "facts"

But the point still stands that asking for $5000 dollars for a compliance fee , almost 5% of the total take in from the IPO is just horrible and desperate looking.

They will be staking millions of coins a day and earning fee's they wouldn't return to the users themselves if they had the market open on their exchange

They would most likely sign up an address of their cold storage wallet of their coin holdings claiming dividends each payment cycle on those who don't withdraw funds

They have i hope some sort of legal team on retainer or at least working with them in certain regards considering the business they are doing .

There has already been scam projects that have shown to have gotten thru their compliance testing system

they have added other coins for much much less , some without even charging .

and some other stuff that i know for a fact that they have experience and have needed to do similar stuff before which will would cut costs and make the process quicker and cheaper than would be if this was simply their first time needing to do this stuff

i dont wanna get impatient but where is the preview of the new UI.
i mean regarding the price stagnating for days we clearly need some good news for this. otherwise there will be more dumping

You should start dumping because the devs just met with the ui dev this weekend. or did you miss that post? do you think the dev can make a new ui in 2 days?
mmhh... there was a preview announced for this week. this one UI guy is clearly a bottleneck
for what a meeting in times of skype & co?

UI was slated for June, it's April. If you can't afford to hold coin in an ICO for a month, you probably should't take part in it. Ethereum was delayed by 6 months.

I for one say SCREW bittrex. $5k is ridiculous and a complete bribe since they don't have crap for compliance anyway. Contact Poloniex and offer to market make instead (put up buy and sells for the exchange).

I would like to add the same as everyone else.

$5000 for a compliance fee is bullshit, that is a "we are slowly dying as an exchange cos we are so shit we can't get enough volume on our exchange, so we have to over charge random bullshit fee's that make no sense to add you to our exchange"

Don't go for it even if it is in your budget . no compliance fee should ever be that much, are they sending 10 different people across the world to verify data with 20 different interview processes with each different member associated with the coin?

It will be a fee, most likely to research if adding the coin wold be legally compliant to the law, But that requires less than 4 hours work from any lawyer that has a mediocre understanding of crypto currency from a half decent lawyer at best. Hell not even that would be required, so claiming the need to 5000 dollars is just insane

the 5K for Bill/bittrex must be a joke Huh Huh

they should be happy or even pay us for listing.

daily volume on yobit is 2 digits BTC and it is in TOP10 since listing or even TOP5 now Wink
