So, i'm just starting out and I got Xapo in order to collect some satoshi to play around with. I was wondering if Xapo is safe to use? It lets me instantly transfer money from faucets to my wallet so I don't have to "collect X amount before cashing out". I've heard that online wallets can be insecure, should I get a safer (desktop?) wallet and transfer what I collect there, or will I be fine using Xapo? Thanks!
i dont think you should trust a wallet because there are to many wallets who cant take your coins save enough. so if you want to store yourt coins do it byu your self or be careful witch wallet you want to use.

Yes, xapo is relaible, and the most attractive feature of it is that there is no fee for any transaction through xapo, xapo take cares of their users and they promised to pay the blockchain fee of bitcoin, so you should have to use xapo.

Nowadays xapo is thinking to be more reliable online wallet as there you do not lose your coins (unless someone get your passwords etc and get access to your wallet), so if you want to remain on online wallet for some time you can trust on it.

I haven't heard of any incident that involves Xapo so I assume that it has a rather good track record. It is fine for collecting faucets since it doesn't have any fees when withdrawing and there is no limit from there.

As you progress, even though Xapo is sufficient, it is still a online wallet after all. If you have huge amount of Bitcoin in the future, you might want to consider to at the very least, get a desktop wallet. AFAIK, Xapo does not allow users to have control of the private key so that may be a problem if the site goes down or a signed message is required.

Yes, it is safe. It's actually quite different from other online wallets.
You cannot do transactions (send and receive) until you have confirmed your identity.

Yeah, it's actually one of the best wallets to use.
They are partnered with BitWage, so if you ever wanna receive your paycheck in BitCoin, you can have direct deposit to that.
They also offer a debit card, try to register for one and you can spend BitCoin anywhere with BitCoin.

Have never used Xapo personally

I think xapo is safe wallet from my experience that ever using xapo wallet it is one of safety wallet . Xapo requires the personal information and some verification on that. So don't worry about something wrong. But in my point of view xapo also have any weaknesses so from few moments ago i am moving to blockchain.info

If you really want to use an online wallet, then I definitely wouldn't recommend xapo wallet. You should probably use blockchain or coinbase.

I have been using them since they were very going and they really good. I mean look at the hard work they out into the site and how well it works. It has good and easy to use security features like a bank would, you can be notified on your phone before making a transaction or when logging in. The wallet works well I have never had a problem.

A xapo wallet you can get faucet satoshi instantly, no withdraw limit andmtyhe fee is very very low in comparison.

I've heard that the Xapo wallet is relatively safe when you compare it to the other wallets available, and they have a lot of services available with it. I know if you want to have a way to spend your Bitcoin in real life Xapo has the debit card services they provide, which appear to be relatively useful and reliable in their own respect. Maybe that's something worth looking into in the future?

I think you will be fine with xapo, I also use for purposes faucet until now and have never encountered a problem. I think it's safe online wallet, cuman we must beharti careful when opening it in pc others, I recommend using blockchain.info to the online wallet since been proven safe and available safeguards verification multiple logins by email. Thank you

If you need a fast online wallet with instant access from anywhere - and as you said you don't plan on keeping large amount of BTC there, then xapo is fine.
Just be wary of the typical problems of every online BTC service - they are susceptible to hacks either of their own system or your account could be hacked.

Xapo is very good, it's working well so far. But as the friend already mentioned above, do not put all eggs in one basket. Try MultiBit and Electrum to Bitcoin, if you are thinking of longer term storage. However, there is already a better alternative out there, the cryptocurrency called DASH. The DASH system, aka Darkcoin, has everything that one cryptocurrency needs to have. But stay tuned, for now the best wallets are Dash Core (0.12.0.56) and Electrum Dash (2.4.1) available on dash . org. in my website there are more details: http://tuapoma.com/inenglish/freecoins/ well, in my opinion, the Dash Core (0.12.0.56) is the best cryptocurrency wallet have ever experienced.

Yes, it is one of the safest so far. I heard they store their cold storage private keys in a place with military level of security. I have been using it for some time and no problem at all. However, I think you shouldn't put all eggs in one basket. Try paper or hardware wallets if you are thinking of longer term storage.
