Varvarin the 14k is what makes xbc sustainable and pays its bills. The staking wallet belongs to nobody except the project itself.
Remember the original developer(s)took every single cent and left nothing to maintain or develop the coin. There is no point even going to what type of other mess that was left as the list is comprehensive to say the least but thankfully now we have some reliable people around only interested in building something useful and sustainable that serves the community and not themselves.
By the way I commend you on all the hard work you do on behalf of emc2 community and always respect your opinion on the trollbox not to mention the fact you are a much large xbc holder than myself.
Did get in touch to find out what happened with the additional coins ... after I bought a bunch of them. I was online when the swap happened and price just went to 20k .. like someone had spare 14k XBC ... hehehe. Actually did the maths when I saw the number and put my buy orders at 20k when it was 100k, it peaked .. had 50 on sale for 0.1btc, so 200k sats I guess.
Lets say it was predictable and not exactly well done, however, I can't really complain about buying cheap .. even if I can't sell any to play. Just throwing BTC into coins is not fun, need a reason to keep doing it
Thanks for the EMC2 vote, appreciated. Likewise for XBC, it still has the right ingredients for glory after 2014 IPO King. - I didn't keep topping up my staking wallet all this time for no reason, hehe.

I've actually been thinking about the name for a long time, XBC is like the best ticker ever, but BitcoinPlus has really fallen out of fashion. Given the current fashion for changing names pretty much kicked off by PimpCash, now DogeDark is Verge - doubled today from a 500% rise - ... not sure which is worse (DOGE is great tho - 3 stages of Doge -

Perhaps start thinking about a name change to go with hard fork and new wallets?
