OK, anyone willing to send 1001XCR to 4713076607390788483C?
I'll send you back 110% once any exchange works. My comp works 24/7, might as well run this node.

Welcome to Crypti. I sent you 1500 XCR from one of my accounts (http://cryptichain.me/tx/1114343000711416364), no need to pay it back. Let us know how your experience is with setting up a node and forging. We would love some feedback! Thanks!

Max and I will look into the Faucet issue. We are going to open source the faucet soon and get a couple additional ones running with more liberal availability of XCR as well.

Thanks GreXX, got them. Upon login into forging panel this gives me:

"Forging enabled now, to start forging provide your secret phrase of your account. You need 1000 XCR to forge block."
Surely forging now, but grammatically looks like a mess.

Did you update the config file with your secret phrase? This is required to enable forging.

You can read full installation instructions here: https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/install.md

If that still seems confusing or you are running into problems, feel free to just post here and we will help you out.

Yes, I got 0.56 already, yey. I was just saying what it says "Forging enabled. To start forging...". Thanks again.

I'll take a look at the text and see if we can re-word it. Thanks.

The wording is correct.  FORGING ENABLED means that forging is possible because you have the required 1000XCR in the client/wallet.

If forging is enabled, why do we need to follow it with "To start forging...". It is telling him he already started. Seems redundant and confusing...

Well, Matt, just because forging is enabled does not mean a client is ready to forge a block or that it will forge a block.  There is a possibility once logged in to FORGING, and a chance once logged in to FORGING, but not a sure thing.  FORGING means that a client has actually succeeded at forging a block......., not that it tried to, and lost to another client.

Anybody knows why Blockchain is reloading every time I start node? Is that normal?

The BC is stored on your hard drive.  When you start the Cryptsy Client, it syncs the hard drive stored BC with the current BC.  This is necessary to prevent an attack by simple BC editing.

The Client will then sync with the newest blocks on the BC, showing you a pop-up box in the lower right corner.

The Client also syncs with the BC every few blocks to prevent forks.

The first versions of the Client took over 2 hrs to sync, this version is only about 10 mins.   The RAM usage also went down from 1GB to 250MB.

Once you have enable forging, the client will forge anytime it is running, even if you have not logged in.

Thanks for explanation.

Fallowed Berzrek here from nxt. Impressed so far, but.

Tried to send 1XCR from faucet - nothing for 3 days. As you all know bter is reluctant to help at the moment. Bought some on polo, no luck withdrowing either. Status: pending. Opened ticket, let's see. So I have quite nice amount on 2 exchanges and no way to transfer them. LOL

Perhaps you can make a deal with another blogger to trade for XCR outside of the exchange so you can get the 1000XCR needed to run a node and forge.

Like you, all but 1200 of my 2 million or so XCR are locked up in Cryptsy, or Bter.

We have our meeting today..... I will bring up the suggestion of selling the foundation XCR available in the private wallet to the community for BTC.

OK, willing to send whooping 0.007BTC for 1200XCR, LOL. PM me.

Sorry, I need that to forge XCR.  I also monitor the Node Reward Program, which crashes daily.    The XCR I suggested is the Foundation XCR, not mine.

EDIT: btw, all faucet links I found so far redirect to     https://wallet.crypti.me/,  so no faucet at all? This one is a must for new blood.
