Some nice buys @ https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_xcr Smiley Keep up the good work and the value will rise!

I don't wanna nice buys, I wanna nice dapps, so that the coin has purpose.  Cool
Have you seen the latest video?
what a video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6nrMx4GLjI

It's our first example dapp. More will follow, and of course more useful dapps as well. Smiley

First post images are down again

I can see the the images, and could see them close to the time when this comment was written. I even tried this time to visit the tread from a different device and no issue here.
The faucet need some attention though..

My screen is saying something else..

The front page should work now. Can you confirm it for me souljah1h? The problem lies with BitcoinTalk, if the image is loading too slow BitcoinTalk shows these ugly red/white images. It can be because you are living in a rural area or with slow internet. Now they are on a faster server, should be good now.

The faucet is also fixed. http://validator.crypti.me

Thank you for your report guys! Smiley
I can confirm it is working again! Smiley Thanks for the quick  response

Here's a little question. Once in a while I get e-mails from Vultr: "Our engineering team initiated a restart of the host node". Every time I need to run "forever start app.js" because the wallet is down after the node reboots. Is that right? Is there a way to make the wallet run automatically after reboot?

Here is doc:

https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/install.md#autostart

Thanks!

May be the high prices is near.
Crypti is dapp, etherium-like platfrom. And etherium has 7 000 BTC day trading volume, 50% of which is on Poloniex. Crypti is on Poloniex too.
So what when some of those Etherium traders will notice Crypti's progress  Huh

I suspect most of the price action right now is directly correlated with the few last messages in this tread (hence the bump). this is true for most of the cryptocurrencies since it is the easiest way to get a quick update/information regarding the project. I bet anyone who's watching this project and team more closely expect the price to go much higher (I myself don't care much besides the fact I wish the project and devs will get the appreciation they deserve). I will start doing my little contribution promoting on trollboxs and suggesting people to take a look at this project. the price should go way above the IPO and first days prices.

Is crypti developed from scratch?

Yes.
How did crypti started? One person? How did you start from scratch?

DO you want the short story or the long story?

Long one if you dont mind, it would be great to know more about the founders and developers.
I also prefer the long story!

OKAY..... so here is the timeline from Stas:

1 - we dreamed of a new crypto tech, that will be
a - innovative
b - fairly distributed
c - have an actual and real world use

2 - Boris introduced me to Arman who was willing to fund Boris and small development team to get us to the prototype stage

3 - at the same very time, I was in touch with mike and Matthew about launching a cryptotech based on proof of time consensus and mix of other parameters

4 - i felt there is a natural match, and introduced the parties

5 - we hammered over several days the features of the crypti, after some market review we stopped on the merchant area, that we felt was under-represented in the crypto market with majority of coins oriented either on technical differentiates, or scientific proof of concepts

6 - launched a pre-ann to judge public interest and received a very enthusiastic response

7 - then a hard work ensued, with Boris working day and night to finish the proof of concept and me, mike Matthew, and Arman  working to prepare all the crowdfunding ecosystem around it, including writing the white-paper

8 - in parallel we did a lot of communication on the BTT, learning the market needs and setting the parameters for the new crypto

9 - also in parallel we worked on the escrow providers, during which we changed few (and luckily, as they got hacked and drained of funds)

10 - once we hit the deadline we reviewed the final proof of concept and we felt it clearly not there so we decided to push by a 1-2 weeks (don't remember exactly) and let Boris finish it

11 - finally on the crowdfunding date we ready, launched the proof of concept, the new site and the white-paper (with Bter starting accepting bids half a day before the agreed time)

12 - and managed to hit the cap within 5 days only, when we had to stop the crowdfunding and reimburse several that got over the cap

13 - after the crowdfunding was complete, we had some trouble to receive the funds due to Boris proof of concept breaking with loads, then Bter got hacked of nxt; but in the end all completed well

14 - we got the funds, put them into 2 vaults and posted their addresses as agreed with community

15 - set up deadlines and started running and inviting new members to the foundation.  From here i think everyone who tracked crypti, know the story; including the PoT failure, recovery steps and the reorientation to the DApp platform area

You may wanna look into http://supervisord.org/ if you're on linux. It's pretty straight forward to setup and works like a charm for my NEM node.
