Can anyone send me the Peer Review for Darksend? @DarkcoinCrypto #Darkcoin #DRK #XC

https://twitter.com/XCplatform/status/472149892992081921

You moderate your own thread so you can start your own flamewar again....how professional.

Dont go crying in the corner when this coin gets dumped again - you have no one to blame but yourself.

Flamewar???   This is fact...   WHERE is the peer review for Darksend....

Darksend team started the FUD about XC copying Fedora.  Now, you are crying about starting a flamewar?  LOL

Im sorry to say but the Dark Dev is already an open trusted figure in the dev, finance and crypto world.  His profile is an open book - and hence doesnt need to "prove" his code to anyone until it goes to open source.

XC dev on the other hand - when I hear things like he cant even use github properly scares me, having Fedora code even if its disabled is bad form. His real identity and past isnt fully credible - how can we trust?

If you don't want don't trust is simple. Nobody is asking from anybody to invest it in. Check back in 1 month and decide then if you can trust the dev or not.

Or just be happy knowing if it was a scam they may just disappear forever

It's not a flameware, which part of that post is untrue? We are not spreading fud simply posing a question.

Not suggesting it is untrue, it just comes across as unprofessional. It's bad PR.

Duh,

you never quoted me, apologies.

Hello.

I was invited to check the implementation of XC compared to FedoraCoin's codebase in order to find possible similarities between them.
First of all, I visited FedoraCoin's repository and checked the specific file mentioned (mixerann.cpp and the header file).
Then, I was invited to Developer's station with a Teamviewer session and saw the code that implements the specific feature.

The code is in no way similar between the two coins.
But, I believe that one must trusts his own eyes (and compiler). Just download the source code from FedoraCoin and create a working wallet that has all the features of XC enabled. That would prove whether the claim is correct or false.

Now, I do not know who claimed that Fedora and XC share the same codebase. If someone claims that some principles are the same, then I'm afraid that someone hasn't heard of Bitcoin and the blockchain concept (or the transaction concept, or the pubkey->wallet address concept, or... the list goes on forever).

Nice, this proves ATC to be honest, I will continue to trust him
Let's continue to make progress and let those who spread FUD and dump to regret

Listen guys honestly nobody needs to worry about this coin being a scam. because i know exactly who the dev is and exactly where he lives and he's aware people get hurt if they scam the wrong people which the dev would doing just that if this coin was a scam..

Lol a moderated thread. What a scam this is. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. In b4 this post gets deleted.

I won't delete it, would I be up for 40 hours if this was a scam? Would we be willing to peer asses our code with the best industry and offer a bounty for them?

I was a little nervous seeing that CryptoPumps page claiming an audit but hearing Mindfox took a look at it and there is a bounty for rat4 to look at it puts my mind at ease.

Yeah me too. Not sure if he will accept it though.

Not crying, I said the same about the DRK tweet. Neither coin should be tweeting anything about each other. It's just unnecessary, it harms the image of both coins when done.

A Darkcoin member just started a new thread.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unmoderated-xc-thread-631052

This is getting fucking ridiculous.

Yes they said they were going to do that, how low do they need to go? apparently this thread is being censored like "north Korea" well i think its the other way round, they are voting our posts off on this thread, i had this removed earlier:

they spread some bullshit about the coin and it dropped thanks for the cheap coins fuds Wink

Well now i just sold mine at the slump and then bought them back slightly lower and earned another 10 XC!

Yep, DRK is a good coin, but I dont think they realise the masternodes could be its biggest weakness not strength.. If the coin gets a very high value a masternode will need to be like fort knox.. One on Amazon has already been hacked... Owner lost 1000 DRK, so its not a laughing matter.

Another risk of masternodes is pooled masternode owners creating network issues with denial of service attacks.  In the words of gnos1s, Zerocoin developer (AnonCoin) speaking on Masternodes "When the number of participants is low, the anonymity is low or nonexistant since each user’s money is not being mixed with many other users’ money. When the number of participants is high, a malicious participant can execute a denial of service attack by refusing to sign the transaction."

This may or may not be a serious flaw in the masternode approach, I'll be very curious to see what dark devs can or can't do about it.  I can easily imagine a whale controlling masternodes creating short-term panic for cheap trade entries, or perhaps shorting crypto currency pairs on exchanges that support it.  Also, just generally speaking, ddos attacks are so cheap these days kids can do it with mommy's credit card if they want, so that's another noise in the background of all this.

Anyway, back on topic, let's see some more peer review!
