This is how it works (win64):

1. Start ducknoted.exe and allow it to connect in firewall (if you use any)

Remember to have some CPU power for this. It took 13% CPU of my 2x4 cores xeons.

0. Start deamon ducknoted.exe and wait till it synchronize.
1. Start simplewallet.exe
2. If you don't have your wallet yet, put the name of your wallet (A) then password (B) and wallet with your new address (C) will be generated.
You should see three new files (A, B, C) in your wallet folder. Make a backup of them. In duck.address.txt (B) file you have your new wallet address if you want copy paste it somewhere:
