Hey any help?

Can anyone add port 8080 on there pool.

Or give me a config.json for XDN pool have all setup but allways get authentication error on stratum and http maybe something wrong Smiley

Or a tips to a good simple proxy script that forward all trafic to correct port that i choise.

Need to mine on port 8080

Help

You might be using a wrong (ie, non duck) address ?
Try my pool (http://duckpool.mooo.com), I had to make a change to the pool code to accept duck addresses, otherwise it would send back auth errors. That said, I'd expect any other duck pool to have that right. If you're getting *authentication* error, rather than other errors, it likely means you're actually getting through, and the pool itself is rejecting you - in that case, a differnet port is unlikely to make any difference. Oh, and make sure you're connecting to a duck pool, not a monero pool, etc Smiley

Edit: oh, and make sure you don't add anything to the address. Someone mentioned that some people add things like _worker1 etc, if you do that the address will be wrong.

I'm getting the following error when I try to load my wallet:

Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "[wallet file name]"

Anyone know how I can resolve this? This wallet is on a mac os. I've searched other Crytonote coins and they mention deleting wallet binaries except a 'wallet.keys' - I cannot find a wallet.keys binary??

Dev/ anyone able to help?

Either the file isn't there (wrong path ?), or, more likely, wrong passphrase.

By Passphase do you mean Password? Password seems fine (if I enter incorrect password, I get a different error).

File paths haven't moved from what I can tell. My wallet.keys is in a different location to my wallet & daemon - not sure if that makes a difference (it didn't previously).

Resolved this.

Steps taken
NB: backup files to USB
(1) delete folder containing daemon + simplewallet etc.
(2) delete YourWallet executable file (was located at Users/User/)
(3) delete YourWallet.address.txt plain text document (was located at Users/User/)
- DO NOT delete YourWallet.keys
(4) download mac binaries again (http://ducknote.org/downloads)
(5) Load daemon followed by wallet

This did the trick for me.

You are wrong regarding volume, SUM had a stable 20-30 BTC volume daily, cannot be compared to XDN, which was very low, right now at 9 BTC and going down.

Was looking at order books. SUM2 trading doesn't look stellar to me right now - and that's the coin that was being voted on, not SUM. Admittedly the order book sells are huge compared to buys for XDN but there's obvious interest in the coin and it's early days. Most of those trading XDN have mined XDN.

I wish Summercoin 2 or Navajo (sp?) or whatever it's to be called every success. I'll be happy for the SUM2 community if it's a huge success.

i'm trying to sync my wallet since yesterday, but it get stuck at 3day behind , i closed the daemon properly, lauched it again today, and it still stuck at 3day behind

i think it could help people with syncing issues if you put on the op page a link to download the whole blockchain

regards

I'm still wondering how this coin got 300 votes on poloniex in one week Smiley

Yes I think it's very surprising. Wink

Well the #2 (Summercoin 2) has 6.8 BTC volume on Bittrex since 12th June compared to 59 BTC for XDN since 22nd June, so I'm guessing it won because it's a lot more popular..... that would explain the larger number of votes I guess. I'm surprised the competition was that close!

thank you, what way to change 32bit wallet to 64bit, can copy wallet.bin, key to 64bit ?

Download binaries (or source and compile) on a 64-bit OS (*nix or Windows) and then copy over .bin.keys file. Once sync. is complete fire up the wallet and you'll be good to go after a refresh. That single file is all you need.

On my pool (see signature), I took one 0 off minPayment and denomination. The first one would mean pay when you reach 100 XDN (as opposed to 1000),  but I'm not sure about denomination, I don't understand what the README says there. I shaved a 0 there too as it seems best to keep the same, but... I'm also not sure what level constitutes dust. Any good rule of thumb ?

Nice to see the Duck Faith...
Over in the Monero thread everyone is either panicking or complaining.

alot more money to be lost, so the reason to panic is justified
