Do I understand, without being specific, that if people who can afford asic miners leave the market, the price will go down quite a bit?
If the forks finally merge the key reuse mitigation code and other mitigations, this should stop the bleed. But that would require the forks to be compenent
if most of the blocks are held by a few rich guys and their friends, selling monero and buying the fork will be beneficial as it will go up quite fast.

I solved right now ...
the problem was that the 'GUI' version did not load correctly the Wallet from keys, monerujo and mywallet gave me 0 transactions and 0 balance, I tried the 'CLI' version and I saw the light
sincerely after this negative experience I will stay away from monero wallet as long as they are more user friendly.

The issue may have been caused by you setting an erroneous restore height:

Can you check whether the stagenet or testnet box is checked in the wizard (of the GUI)?
Would you, for investigation purposes, mind PMing me the seed & keys generated by moneroaddress.org? If you incurred a bug, it'd be beneficial for our developers to be able to debug it. If there are still funds in the wallet, ignore my request.

See what I bolded? That video will in fact show you how to convert one persons Monero (whatever idiot is following those instructions) to another (The scammer that made the video). As stated, Bulletproofs, and more of the steady fine tuning that goes on constantly in this project. Perhaps further POW changes as well.

Progress as in the same as every scheduled update (HF), I think the next big one will be the implementation of BulletProofs, the last was multisig as well as a slew of other improvements. This project accomplishes more each update than any other that I know of by a huge margin,

I'm sure there will be more people who try to exploit it and make their own viable fork out of it. However each time these people will be met with less and less success. This is part of the reason why hard forking every six months is such a great idea. It's like an inoculation against more dangerous fork attempts.
