My current predictions are that MRO will cool down a little bit, and that value might decrease to 150000 sats

what gives? it's currently trending towards 30, smashing through every wall and generated a 56btc volume on poloniex within 8 hours, so..

Yeah but it is realistic to expect what, 1 block per week or much less? In addition, what is the wallet file we should be saving if we happen to change wallet address or something like that?

any1 on this?

i second this?

extremepool is finding a lot of blocks today.

you should back up wallet.bin.keys and wallet.bin <- don't take my word, i read that somewhere here.

I was wondering if this coin is a good buy, but I saw that this coin traded for 80% less than yesterday, why did it go down so much?

Your chart is upside down?

https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_mro

Zoom out and you can see the first sale took place around 10k sats which is an obnoxiously high price so the calculator is displaying a loss because it is incorporating that initial outlier into the analysis

now quit trolling and buy monero. these are still DIRT cheap this is not the ground floor gentlemen, this is the basement. Hurry up.

will do lol

yeah with a big 35 BTC sell wall at 30 k ..

its probably fake

Hey guys,

You all probably know that I've released a SoloMiner a few days back. (if someone didn't know about it - here is the link)

I was wondering if bounty on open-source GUI miner is still on the table since SoloMiner pretty much covers it.

Cheers.

I don't remember there being a bounty for a GUI miner, although maybe there was. Perhaps you are thinking of the GUI wallet bounty?

Oh, it's just the label was "Open-source GUI - bounty 2600 MRO and rising" - that got me confused. You should probably fix it. Smiley

Wow, monero is up to .00207 btc on poloniex! That's great, given I saw buys in the .0008's yesterday.  That makes me wonder if someone knows something, like that it will be on coinmarketcap.com soon?

It is a stupid pump from poloniex trolls. Don't fall for it.

Is it best to solo mine or, if not, which is a reliable pool?

I recommend solo mining at this point. None of the pools are that reliable.

Solo mining provides the maximum value to the network by running a node and decentralizing control away from pools (even if other people do use them). Solo miners are the true heros of any coin.

The down side is that you need to be extremely patient and not have unrealistic expectations of getting coins on a consistent basis (or with a low hash rate, ever). If you view it as providing a service to the network and look at any coins you do get as nice prize or bonus, you will enjoy solo mining. If you check every 15 minutes to see if you got some coins, you will find solo mining very frustrating.

Hash Rate: 625.74 H/sec <<< Any luck with me if solo at this time? Thanks!

That is a pretty decent hash rate. The whole network is around 800k so you have almost 1/1000 of it. There are an average of 1440 blocks per day so you should be getting an average of a block per day with solo mining. Of course some days will be zero, some will be multiples.

Are you getting those stats from a pool? The pool stats can be WAY off, because sometimes cpuminer submits the same share many times. That's also why all the pools' hashrates fluctuate so much.

A stratum pool is being worked on, so all of these bugs will be worked out soon.

Still no payout from extremepool for the last three or so blocks

So why do you keep mining at it ? Masochist ?

Try http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/ next time.

Your pool is going to have the same problems, and so is mine. You just haven't found an orphaned block yet.

Seems cpuminer-multi still has some problems with the pools available.

It starts hashing fine but after diff is raised to 10000 by the pool all shares are being rejected.
Any way to mine with an static diff  Huh
