Is there any reliable Monero wallet for Android which keeps the private key in your device?

Yes.  There is Monerujo.  Open source light wallet for android.

I use it.  I bought a Ledger Nano S and a Cryptosteel with it. Smiley

Do your own due diligence.

To add, here is a link to the reddit announcement that has a link to the Google Play store for the app.

Thank you both very much, will check for more details. Just a little bit afraid that it is just a public beta version added to Google Play very recently.

"Pirate Bay Founder’s ‘Njalla’ Offers Anonymous Domain Registration" - Monero Accepted: Just recently the founder of the notorious torrent website the Pirate Bay launched a new privacy-centric domain registration service called ‘Njalla.’ This type of service has become a hot commodity lately as domain names are hard to obtain without providing identity details to the registrar. https://news.bitcoin.com/pirate-bay-founders-njalla-offers-anonymous-domain-registration-for-bitcoin/

I'm not satisfied with the Monero clients. I would like to have something similar to Electrum

You can use the GUI with a remote node, which kind of results in the GUI acting as a light wallet. See:

https://moneroworld.com/#nodes

Thanks for the helpful post - I could definitely use the extra 30+GB Monero Blockchain space on my laptop for other things.

Would there be any security issues using the Moneroworld node with my wallet (I'm running Linux...)?

No, just some minor privacy trade offs. See:

This is slightly off topic but relates to monero by decentralization and privacy so I give myself a licence to ask here.

Is there any ready fuctioning decentralized Internet available?

I found these.
https://blockstack.org/
https://maidsafe.net/

But they seem to be beta this and beta that and under of development. Ready not yet and so on.

So if I would like establish for example a site for monero where domain and data storage and such are decentralized the way that they cannot be taken down by TPTB, how can I do it? Is there tecnology available?

And such easy way that I do not has to fight with it for weeks. Like such that ordinary CLI GUI linux crypto oriented user can do it.

Hi I have a issue with my wallet. since yesterday there is displayed: waiting on daemon synchronisation to finish.

An Blocks remaining: 4729

What can I do now, my pool send me XMR, but there isn't a incoming transaction Sad

Are you using the latest wallet? It helps a lot with synchronization. Helium Hydra 0.11.0.0

Thank you very much. Now I have updatet my wallet to version Helium Hydra 0.11.0.0 and it's working. I have receive my transaction. I like XMR and I think monero have a great future.

You're most likely using an outdated version. Thus, please upgrade to the latest version:

https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/6056/how-do-i-upgrade-my-software-to-v0-11-0-0

I had same problem, check on Monero GUI-->settings--> show status, and if everything stopped at block height 1400000 ([2] For now, block height is set to 1400000: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/6uae51/help_out_with_testing_the_upcoming_helium_hydra/) then you must update you GUI. So just download new, updated versions. This worked for me.

I think that Monero is the best privacy-focused cryptpcurency.
But I have one  doubt.. who keep network hashrate when xmr was much lesa profitable than zec and eth..
Isn't any backdoor in Monero?

A lower hash rate simply means confirmations are less secure. Worse case scenario, you can always wait for more confirmations to get back what ever level of security you are comfortable with.

Actually I use only monero for my payments in dark web ! This is the best crypto currency for black market. All that tor integrated coins are just bullshit. Dark web shops accept only monero.

Ok, but please stop telling the world that. Most of us do not want Monero associated with criminal endeavours, we want it for financial safety and personal safety and for our personal human rights for privacy.
