Has XMR been introduced to Chinese exchanges or do yall have plans to advertise to them?

Are there Chinese DNMs?  Do they know about Monero?

There are 3 main altcoin exchanges: bter, btc38, yunbi in China, they have to obey money laundry law, I am afraid they could not easily add this kind of Anon coins, they will face legitimate issues. AFAIK, bter has dash trading pairs, btc38 and yunbi don't have anon coin trading pairs.

I've noticed that recently a lot of people are asking about how XMR Ring Signatures work, so I've found this very educational video for them  Grin

Surely many of the losers, when xmr touching 100%.

People bought with losses on any pump, very normal, if they bought at the peak, we have to say sorry, they bought our whales' bags.   Cheesy

Yeah all back to themselves. all no one knows if xmr still encourage purchasing. Cheesy

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
The power of cryptography should not be taken lightly by anyone. This rise is unprecedented....my gut tells me cryptonote is something great. I have just finished the WP.

Interesting articles for XMR peeps:

1. http://www.wired.com/1994/12/emoney/

2. http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.805/articles/money/nsamint/nsamint.htm

3. http://www.nytimes.com/1994/12/31/us/computer-jokes-and-threats-ignite-debate-on-anonymity.html?pagewanted=all

4. http://osaka.law.miami.edu/~froomkin/articles/cfp97.htm

5. http://www.cs.utah.edu/~kmay/look/digital/Laundry.htm

6. http://www.forbes.com/forbes/1997/0908/6005172a.html  -"There is another dimension to the spread of crypto. The same mathematical tricks used to encode a message can be run in reverse, to generate a so-called digital signature. This is a computer stamp of authenticity. It can be used to prove that an electronic document originated with a particular sender, such as a bank depositor or a bank officer. Assemble a few digital signatures in a clever fashion and you have created a mechanism for digital cash;a system of electronic payments akin to Visa or MasterCard but with the added feature that it can be made anonymous." - FORBES 1997

These papers absolutely must be read.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past!

Quote
Walter Wriston, former chairman of Citibank, devoted a chapter of his brilliant 1992 book The Twilight of Sovereignty to the history of cryptography. Wriston foresaw the weakening of national governments through the power of technology and recognized that cryptography would play a key role. He knew something about it from personal experience. During World War II he was responsible for the electromechanical devices used by the Allies to encrypt their messages. Wriston sees encryption technology as a key ingredient in the transfer of social and economic power from the governments of nation-states to the PC-packing populace. Since the success of Internet commerce depends on strong cryptography, its proliferation is inevitable. “The government can’t do much about it,” says Wriston. “It’s another thing slipping through their fingers.”

Rejoice, libertarians. Lament, Hillary Clinton and partisans of the nanny state. If you want to participate in the cryptographic revolution against Big Government, you don’t have to traffic with an arms merchant in a dark alley. Go to the Internet.

Does anyone want to take over the Hungary node?

https://monerohash.com/nodes-distribution.html

I would like to take ownership back in case nobody else wants his very own Monero node for the equivalent of just 4$ per month (payable in Bitcoin, or Monero through XMR.to).

I'd like to sponsor a node or two (or five) with i2p and/or TOR "bridge" (clearnet <-> darknet) functionality.  Any idea how much extra that would cost?

Only the Black Market Matters
By Justus Ranvier

Quote
This can not be emphasized strongly enough: the underground economy employed half the world’s workers as of 2009, and is growing rapidly.

Every time a new startup launches, or a new software project announces, ask one question: “Does this new thing improve the black market?”

If the answer to this question is “no”, then the thing is useless.

So bring on the money laundering, tax evasion, drug marketplace, and unregulated taxi service software. Anyone who isn’t actively working to expand and empower the informal economy is wasting their time.

Been keeping it up last 3 months without holding. Looks like the eco system can take care of itself these day. Wink

Dont want to transform this into an support thread, but jea, the adress you posted look a lot longer than the one i got from poloniex. Yes, i copied it directly Smiley

it looked more like this (example, not a real addresse)

Code:
ga94869908c3a8bse2ff3dc53014b645641p8cb07d3acb1ccb2ewd426d7258d4

I personally have a lot of trust in XMR, and mine it on the side for a while now, just on spare recources. But currently everthing seems to work against mee haha i still have some funds on payeer, but the transfer of those also failed... they seem to be out of bitcoin or something ^^

Hopefully xmr will continue the rise after i bought some tomorrow Cheesy

Thanks for your help, i will try another adress outside of poloniex...

You MUST send your deposit using the unique Payment ID above. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your deposit.

That's the payment ID. Click the little link underneath it that says "Show deposit address"

Then, when sending make sure to use both.

Well the recent price jump is somewhat suspicious, but i am still happy, even if i just own a few xmr... What really makes me think, i tryed to transfer some xmr from mymonero to poloniex and the site just states "Failed to decode address (#0): Invalid symbol" so either the poloniex adress is broken or the send money is currently disabled Sad

maybe i should choose a local wallet...

That sounds like the address is malformed somehow, did you copy it directly from Poloniex? Don't forget to include your payment id.

address looks like this:
