Ah I think i've found the problem, the load balancer is not properly forwarding the SSL requests, the "normal" requests are fine

I confirm high latency issue EU server: ssl and stratum+tcp 1000-3000 ms, but XMR-US ssl 250ms.
 I am in Europe

I'm syncing an additional node currently, it'll be up as soon as monero is synched !

Hmm weird, maybe there's a routing issue...  Ill switch the server and let you know

Ah I think i've found the problem, the load balancer is not properly forwarding the SSL requests, the "normal" requests are fine and all my miners are connected via normal connections, that's why I didn't see the problem for my self.

I'll find a way to workaround the SSL stuff..

@ocminer

can you check what's wrong with pool?
since saturday I have experienced a high latency problem, almost every share is more than 1,000ms !!

I migrated miner to other pool (miningpoolhub) until this is solved

Thanks.

Can you ping the server? Maybe it's a connection issue? My miners are connected fine atm

Can I use Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.5 (NsCpuCNMiner64.exe) -u option which my wallet address instead of Username.Worker?
Thanks!

Hi !

No, you'd have to use your username.worker combination for now. As far as I know Claymore has updates his miner to use usernames as well, so they should be working fine.

I can add wallet mining too, let me know if it doesn't work with usernames, i'm not 100% sure.

I've noticed some users are now trying to enter Kraken Addresses with integrated payment IDs as well as separate Payment IDs: This is not possible, the payment won't go through.

Either you use a separate payment ID and a "normal" monero wallet address or:
A kraken address with integrated payment id (4gDoN....)
A normal wallet address without payment ID at all.

You can delete your payment ID by removing it from the field in your account settings and saving that.

I was thinking to avoid confusion maybe having a drop down menu or radio buttons to that will change the account area depending on what wallet type you choose ?

Uh I'm quite busy with testing a new payout scheme on a separate pool currently but maybe after that i'll look into it. Currently nothing is "lost", the payment is just stuck and people usually message me if they see something isn't going through so I can just check if they have a payment ID set and tell them to remove it when they're using a Kraken address as well... Or maybe I'll just colour the Payment ID field in RED when a Kraken Address is detected.. Something like that..

Yes of course, just spurting some ideas, im not getting confused  Grin You could also check the lenght of the adress yeah, a kraken one is longer than a normal one.

You could have something like

  • Normal Wallet (Wallet Adress)
  • Exchange Wallet (Wallet Adress and Payment ID)
  • Kraken Wallet (Unified Wallet + ID adress

that will change the account area depending on what wallet type you choose ?

Minor bug was fixed where thresholds could be set but not changed.  Working now. Also with Polo and bittrex Smiley
