When I'm bearish, I sell some coins, if I am very bearish I sell all coins. If I am extremely bearish I short.

Manipulation, if you can identify it, is a prime opportunity to profit. When the market is manipulated, the price and the way it moves is artificial and not in harmony with true market demand. If everyone can see the manipulation it ceases to exist as the market realizes the imbalance and corrects it.

When you are one of few who has properly identified the manipulation you can profit immensely by trading either the patterns of the manipulator or against it.

Since you think monero "will be left dry" as soon as "the manipulator" is done. Even if you don't know the exact timing, the crypto space is moving rapidly and your prediction should come true fairly soon. Even at current emission it seems unlikely that a whale will be able to prop the market up for more than 6 months even at current price, not to mention higher price levels. You can make good profit from this by either shorting the market or purchasing put options.

My guess is that you don't, because you don't really believe your own claim. Money Talks, Bullshit Walks.

There was nothing wrong with your post. Bearish opinions are welcome. Some evidence or reasons to back up your claims would be better though.

Maybe you should forecast a bear market since AmericanPegasus is the reverse indicator of Monero as MatTheCat is to Bitcoin.

i have to disagree with these graph, this is not cup and handle as the handle is different than the cup. you were just trying to hyping this shitcoin by deceiving investor with your fake promises.

It is an interesting read; however I am far from convinced that Dash will have a significant impact on the price of Monero. The situation now is very different from the spring of 2015 when the re-branding from Darkcoin to Dash did cause Monero to jump up in price. For starters the numbers now are very different. Dash then had like 6x the capitalization of Monero, now it is more like 2.5x. The liquidity of Monero is more often than not greater than that of Dash. Dash has moved away form being primarily a privacy / anonymity/ fungibilty coin to a much stronger focus on instant transactions. This has moved Dash away from being a Monero competitor.

If I were to look for another coin that could impact Monero's price I would look at Ethereum and its DAO. Ethereum actually competes with Monero on fixes to the 1 MB fixed blocksize limit issue in Bitcoin. I actually suspect that Ethereum has benefited significantly form the 1 MB blocksize issue in Bitcoin, even though the fixed fee approach to this in Ethereum is vulnerable to certain attacks. The whole issue over the "hacked DAO" and the and the various highly controversial soft and hard forks proposed in Ethereum to freeze and seize funds brings a whole new focus to the value of privacy / anonymity / fungibilty in Monero. How exactly can one do this in Monero without breaking the subsequent transactions? Furthermore Ethereum's market cap is like 20x to 25x that of Dash.

Edit: Just focusing on Monero's price over the last two years and not looking at the capitalization rate and inflation rate misses the whole picture.

 
 
That's awful - someone go let them know they are always welcome over here.  1 Monero = 1 Monero with no Masternodes.  We all mined/bought our XMR fair and square and they are welcome to come spend their time and attention somewhere it will be more appreciated.

It doesn't hurt that XMR's biggest "privacy coin" competition, Dash, is in the middle of an increasingly bitter civil war!

I can't tell what they're fighting over, but it appears to be a power struggle between self-appointed amateur community leaders "coordinators" and the core team, in which the amateurs want some of same the sweet free Dash now being enjoyed by the Official bigwigs.

This is an entirely predictable outcome, as I warned the zero-sum nature of their Budget Block funding system, which creates winners and losers, inevitably pits people against each other, based on Masternode votes skewed by the instamine's maldistribution of coins.

Their ongoing "Digital Democracy" debacle (more like Distributed Anonymous Bikeshedding ) demonstrates the superiority of Monero's open-ended/positive-sum Forum Funding System, where we can make as much pie as we like rather than fighting over the scrapes of centralized budgeting.

After the DAO hack, hype and decentralization theater are no longer in greater demand than quality projects with solid security and proven crypto.

Expect more of Dash's market cap to leak into Monero's, as the wheels continue to come off the Duffmobile's HYIP noob-scamming vehicle.
