Quick guys, dump it back down, we're rising a little...

lol. I can see where your sarcasm comes from, after a multi-year bear market Tongue

As others pointed out, if we break that red exponential trendline AND we break the privious high at 0.001677 BTC, all bets are off!
I drew the fib levels. They seem to match some of the privious highs/resistance pretty well.

edit: DASH pump seems over for now. They are below 0.01.
When our market cap comes near to theirs, people will jump from the DASH Rickety Raft and in stead join the XMR Stabila Ŝipo Smiley

There is a good chance that ETH will keep the #1 volume spot on Poloniex for the foreseeable future.

In order to help ensure XMR trading pairs (giving XMR better liquidity and visbility compared to when only BTC and LTC trading pairs were offered) continue long term, please use them when you can. Bid/Ask spreads will decrease with higher usage.

Instead of trading XMR for BTC and then BTC for LTC trade XMR for LTC

Instead of trading XMR for BTC and then BTC for BBR trade XMR for BBR

If the spreads are greater for the XMR trading pairs, use limit orders instead of market orders.

A mix is necessary.  I think it's pretty public knowledge that I've gone full retard on Cryptonote and 2/3rds of all my savings is in Monero and Aeon, with the other third in Bitcoin.

My plan is to eventually add a small stake of Boolberry as well.

One way to support XMR, AEON and BBR at the same time is to use my advice above! Hopefully Poloniex will add Aeon soon.

Anyway, it's good to have both - people who are heavily vested in a projects success and those who are only academically interested.   Both bring their own brand of accreditation.

academics have their value, but i'm not sure i'd want to see them leading a fortune 500 company that i was invested in.

are there any ex-professors leading fortune 500 companies?

So for me its do or die, but that also taints my words a little: people call me a shill because my financial future is intertwined with the success of cryptocurrency.  Even if I do have altruistic motivations, people can always say that I am 'not thinking clearly'.  That can be very frustrating.... I have a range of choices of where to place my chips and I am (and have been) missing out on some sweet sweet short money by not buying market puts.

Why?  Not because I am trying to get rich quick, but because I've found that rare asset that I can believe in *and* invest in.  How often does that happen?

and he owns $500 worth of monero? why not have a little more if you really believe in the future of crypto?

I too, only own $500 worth of Monero.   Wink  Wink  Wink

and he owns $500 worth of monero? why not have a little more if you really believe in the future of crypto? and if you don't believe in the future of crypto, why even work on it and attend these conferences and be so outspoken about it? how many bitcoins does he even own. probably not many at this point.

another guy who confuses me is Adam Back.
Satoshi e-mailed Adam Back and encouraged him to mine a few blocks of bitcoin with his CPU. Adam Back scoffed at the idea and didn't mine any. why not?

now he talks about bitcoin as if he invented it. on his twitter, he describes himself as the inventor of hash cash and says that bitcoin is just "hashcash with inflation control." lmao.

i would rather see devs with skin in the game. i know fluffypony has a stake in mymonero and the monerodice. and likely owns more than $500 worth of monero.  that's a good thing. because then you know it actually matters to him whether this thing succeeds or not.

Where is a troll when you need one!

I think primer- should buy more servers so he could mine more coins to dump. Reward is steadily decreasing and it will take some heavy lifting to dump enough for a good feeling at the end of the day.

Shoutout from Peter Todd on the only altcoin he uses, for privacy reasons of course.

Posted yesterday in bitcoincore slack channel.

Great news! It's actually up to those well known figures who understand the field of crypto to tell others what is good and what is not. Regular people have no clue what a ring signature is and have very vague idea of a private key. Some form of decentralized consensus of what is rubbish and what not is emerging slowly as most of the projects have been released already.

Looks like the ideal setup to break out of this resistance zone (155-168k satoshi).

Daily MACD flipping to green (confirmation will come if the current daily closes):

Lending rates shooting up, so a lot of (possible) fuel:

I've got ~3k XMR loaned out at .02%.

That's a teaser rate, to get the suckers shorts hooked (first time is free).

Now I've moved the rest to much higher rates.

Time to squeeze them until they pop.   Cool

I've started to notice that people on the trollbox on poloniex are starting to realize what xmr really is and that dash is a scam coin... Idk, I've only been watching for like 10 or so minutes, but it seems people are starting to wake up and starting to realize what Dash really is.

Hi guys, by any chance do you know why I can't generate a new BTC address on Poloniex to make a BTC deposit?

Poloniex took out this feature months ago, because of some sort of abuse, or potential for abuse. Doesn't really make sense to me, but that's what they say. I asked them about it about a month ago and they said it would be returned soon, but I don't think its high up on their priorities. If you are able to use the API directly, you can change your deposit address that way.

Same here. Bitcoin main and a (relatively) small stash of Monero. All other altcoins are overvalued (or arent even worth anything).

The current ETH market cap is 1,166,150 BTC. Has the world gone full retard?  Huh

AUR

Oh haha the Icelandic airdropped coin. Yeah that was pretty retarded too. Not sure how high that went.

Obviously the market caps of XRP (total scam, value 0) and DOGE (extreme inflation, value very low) are equally retarded.

doge inflation is actually quite low

It's over 5% ...

An example of the latter negative effect:  ~20 Manhattanites get killed by stray voltage each year when touching signal poles or street lamps, but this is definitely not news, just a consequence of stratified layers of decaying transmission circuitry dating back to the era of Edison and Tesla.
