Blocks are empty of transactions.. No one is using this shitcoin..

Isn't that awesome? It is like using that new highway with fresh new tarmac all by yourself, without anyone knowing, for free!
Now when thinking about it I really like keeping it for myself, so please move over to your over-hyped toll road.

Sure donkey, keep the 'highway' all to yourself..

I'll keep exchanging xmr for ETH
Are you actually implying people are using ETH to buy stuff? Lol

No, ETH is not a currency its so much more. Anyone actually using XMR to buy stuff ? Blocks are empty so no... Name one merchant that accepts xmr ...

Why don't you short XMR, if you are so certain "no one is using this shitcoin" and it "won't even exist this time next year?"

I've still got around 40k + I mine around 250xmr daily .. No need for a loan ..
Why do you think the price decreased from 160k to 130k ... Most of the sells were mine..

Once ETH releases ring signatures dapp its over. The only chance for monero to survive is to increase adoption by a tenfold.
Monero doesn't even have a GUI (not saying that would increase adoption!). Man-child developers..

Look at the blockchain, http://chainradar.com/xmr/blocks , blocks are empty of transactions.. No one is using this shitcoin..
Anyway, I'll keep exchanging xmr for ETH, most likely it won't even exist this time next year.

You may borrow 20591 XMR for 2-60 Days at only 0.0040%.

Some other loans are even less expensive.

Why don't you short XMR, if you are so certain "no one is using this shitcoin" and it "won't even exist this time next year?"

The dollar price has not changed much recently, even though that in bitcoin price has risen. That is just because of the bitcoin price has dropped recently.

In theory, you want your currency to be relatively stable against the cost of food and other goods and services.

This applies to a mature stage, not when a "currency" is in its infancy. With a 6M$ market cap, people can hardly buy luxury things without buying a significant portion of the supply.

What matters to most people is that the currency they hold does not decrease in value.  The other possible direction of fluctuation typically isn't seen as an issue.  Tongue

In theory? Try in reality! Tongue

Kind of important to be able to depend on your finances not fluctuating wildly every month for the majority of the wolrd.

It seems monero, like for money other altcoins, pump finished. USD price is back to usual range between 0.4-0.5 cents, btc price going down, volume going down as well.

I speculate that most of the people who have been following Monero for a long time (non traders) are watching development much more closely than the price and like what they see in github.

I like to second this, price is quite irrelevant at the moment. Measured in dollars the price is stable enough to actually use Monero as an anonymous payment network (both these services are awesome btw: XMR.to and ShapeShift.io).

Since version 0.9 I actually start to use Monero frequently, for running a node and hosting my own wallet for payments. The quick syncing and low RAM usage is a huge step forward for decentralization. Really looking forward to all the upcoming actively developed features.

I would not sell today.  Not XMR anyhow.  A bit of ESH6 at 1920, yes.  Buy it back cheaper in a few hours.
