With release of Ryzen 5000 series, the network hashrate will probably increase gradually.
They're not better in RandomX: https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/comments/jpmw5l/zen3_vs_zen2_clock_for_clock_comparison/

I am still curious if 0.3 is too much or not... will see later Smiley.

edit : I had to use the search function to find this post, what is going on? where have you all moved, to some kind of decentralized and secure forum?

We are at 6% of Bitcoin transactions so at 0.06 now. Best source of Monero information is Monero subreddit.

Latest info there that attracted big crowd is about about Sybil attack

There is currently no evidence of RandomX failing in regards to continuing to be ASIC resistant.

We have seen a couple brief spikes that have a lot of evidence of being cloud computing coming online for brief periods, but even this supports the idea that XMR is effectively C/GPU friendly only now.  The closest thing to an ASIC is the high end AMD CPUs.  If ASICs came into play we would see a ramp up that would go very high and remain there for as long as possible.  It would be a very costly endeavor to (again) make XMR ASICS and the manufacturers are incentivized to get that cost out as fast as possible.

So what about RandomX ? anything else if or when or if they have already taken over (they, the MACHINES...)?

Still no torrent link to share? It would increase safety and distribution Smiley.

We are nearly low enough to pick up my rogue bitcoin.

Smiley

Up or down from here?

I strongly believe that we will touch low 0,007 maybe even high 0,006, go sideways for a few weeks and then we are starting to gain massively towards BTC
It is nice to see, that we are still going sideways in $ and €, that is a very good sign  Grin Grin Grin

Down before up, if BTC resumes rocket mode.  If BTC hangs out or drifts /drops down,  I think up down then up.  Either way, I'm not sure we're done with the down part.  Hang on Globb0,  I think you still can get it back.  Maybe even with a cherry on top  Shocked

How many times have we seen Monero sort of decoupled from the alts?  It ran up on it's own a couple weeks back, and now is not joining in on the alt rebound.

Seems like this happens more often to Monero than others... then again it's a non-scientific subjective observation.

I am assuming there is a lot of sell pressure into which the alt rally is pushing?

Monere is decoupled from shitcoins and that is backed by science and math. Grin

Lately it was. Bitcoin up Monero down( in BTC). Bitcoin down, Monero stable. Bitcoin stable, Monero up.

Long term Bitcoin going up makes more space for Monero to grow in the future.

Oh also for the first time in history Monero had 3 days in a row more transactions then BHC. And at some point in last 24h Monero had 3114 transactions an hour. That is for sure absolute record.  Few days ago I said we might not see days with less then 20k transactions a day next year. Maybe that will happen already in December.

Andreas Antonopoulos talks about Monero and its strong privacy compared to Bitcoin. First time getting an endorsement from Andreas?

A breath of life came into the alts today.

They all have a green candle so far for today.

BTC over 15k things are kind of rosey.

It seems Tuman will not be in the congress after all. But 134k votes in a bad district for Republicans is still very good. If you dont know who Tuman is he is the Monero talk guy https://www.youtube.com/c/MoneroTalk/videos
I guess we can wait 4 more years.

big players "washing" their BTC?

That's what I thought few hours ago at the drop. It could well be that some of this unexpected swings up and down are the slow entries and exits of washed BTC and we will have to be used to them for a long time.

I feel like anything below .01 you’re getting free Monero at that point. Chart guys... where are my chart guys?? Huh Wink

Well I have been following XMR in USD recently.  And it massively overshot the area where I thought it would trade which is north of $115.  Now it has deflated back down to the bottom of that range (and admittedly breached it somewhat).  But I expect it to at least hold here in this 1-teens range for a while.

This is not meant as a predictive chart, that line is really there to show how much we went parabolic there for a while.

Still, I am not sure what drives Monero...  big players "washing" their BTC?  Dark Markets?  Quiet whales hedging a little?  Inflation bugs?

Holy moly Monroe is on clearance Shocked

Maybe sub- 0.008 tonight at this rate.

Jopidopi, as predicted  Grin Cheesy Wink

You said next week!  That's OK.  I can't bear to sell MY coins, but I finally did a little margin short a week ago  Tongue

Current low -  0.00801

Yeah, that's what i said, and i believe that 0,0080 is a pretty strong resistance, so let's wait and have a cup of tea  Grin Cheesy Wink
Nice, how did it turn out  Roll Eyes Wink

First time ever with a green short Grin Too much permabull to short, in general, but  I'm gonna hold this one while I drink my tea  Wink

Meanwhile,  buy orders lining the halls all the way down from here.  I'm expecting maybe .0074 range, but will gladly buy more, lower.

Nice, congrats from my side  Tongue Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Wink Wink Wink Wink
with this freaking pace we will see sub 0,007 by Wednesday and if it gets ugly even high 0,005 by the end of November which should then mark the bottom though  Roll Eyes
At the moment speaking if i would buy in presently, i would have gains around 25% with pretty stable XMR/EUR prices so i am a happy fellow right now  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
