I watch binance, volume has been super low for quite awhile now. People are not giving up their coins so readily.

binance dog eaters is the most legit xmr exchange? :-D lol tell me more!

Ohh, I learned a new insult.

It's managing to stay up back over .008, I think that says something.  As the big beast rises back up again, Monero will too but I also think it will continue to increase in value against BTC.

My gut feeling is that we will not be unhappy with where XMR is by the month end and into Sept.

Beyond that things are difficult to call as I think Bitcoin has been going through faster, then slower blocks and difficulty weirdness.  This will settle, though. The test of the mid $11K range was a little odd and it should be back pretty quickly to a better price.  Too much is going on that is positive for Bitcoin right now, no one bar the miners are selling.  Who the hell wants to cash out, or even spend Bitcoin right now?  It can't stay at this level for long.

We will just have to wait and see, but short term it's looking good and for now XMR should ride it well.

In the past when we see these sorts of big moves they tend to get smacked back down into the sub 8 range.

*sigh* lol.

Yup... Bitcoin as always dictates the market.  Sub $11,500 was a bit 'ouch' but normal service will be resumed soon.

OK, let's try this again.

What's the exchange to watch these days?  2 year break, and it seems crypto didn't sit still.  I mean, other than the fiat price of monero.

The bottom picture is an idea. does it works in 2020 Criptoverse? We will see, but it did not really showto work this past week. Smiley

The biggest research in 2020 and 2021 will be most likely Triptych. If that will work and be successfully implemented that will be really huge.

Right now it's a bit more than 3.75% in the past 24 hours, closer to 10% in fact.

I stand corrected. And impressed  Smiley

And that is a rise against BTC.  If XMR/BTC can just get up into middling historic levels, say the mid teens - and Bitcoin has the year most expect in 2021, then in USD terms, 10X is plausible.

I care only about XMR/BTC. But I understand your point.

Afaik Binance has the bigger share of the volumes. https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/monero
So I use to get the price from Binance. And as I stated, I care only about XMR/BTC. https://bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/binance/xmrbtc

Respect for a decent response, we are on the same side, Sir.

I only really care about XMR/BTC too. In crypto Bitcoin is king, we must judge any coin by its value in BTC - especially as fiat deteriorates.  I mentioned the USD price as it's a significant signpost on the road we travel along.  That said, seeing us at (say) north of 0.017 again against BTC is my real wish, of course.

If we are right to have hodled for all this time, it will come.  And in all honesty, I think we are... right.

[...] On 15th February price was 0.0095 btc.  Tesla share is more then double of the pre covid-19 price. There is no reason why Monero would not reach pre covid-19 price right now.

Alright, after a rip like yesterday no surprise we pull back especially in this overall crypto market being in a natural, healthy contraction.

I would just love to see Monero form a new base here... hopefully north of .008 from which to continue it's well deserved appreciation.

In the past when we see these sorts of big moves they tend to get smacked back down into the sub 8 range.  But I think we should see fairly decent support at 81 even if we dip that low.

LOL. That August 22th 2016 chart was just for good memories.
What we have now ahead is to make this years ATY in Bitcoin. On 15th February price was 0.0095 btc.  Tesla share is more then double of the pre covid-19 price. There is no reason why Monero would not reach pre covid-19 price right now.

I find myself wondering... Ver has been showing signs of sort of cracking a little in regards to BCH.  Recommending Dash (barf) etc.  Wonder if he's buying?
