Wether it is more coins are added to the lending markets or shorts have been closed.
If the former is the case it is a classical sign in Monero that we are approaching the pump. Namely, in the short history of Monero the excessive supply of Moneros in the lending markets is indicating the upcoming pump.
It would be great if we could see 0.02 and more again.

TumbleBit would be interesting if incorporated to Bitcoin, as an altcoin it will certainly be a scam like all spin-offs from proposed privacy-enhancing Bitcoin extensions: Dash/Darkcoin(Coinjoin), Zcash(Zerocoin/cash) etc, this is getting old.
A Cryptocurrency needs much more than privacy/fungibility, it needs scalability (Monero got it), a decent launch (Monero was fair), different mining algo (Monero has Cryptonight), substantial enhancements (Cryptonote is not a Bitcoin fork but created from scratch as a bold and successful re-interpretation of Satoshi Nakamoto original dream). Even the original Cryptonote (Bytecoin) is a scam, the only thing that saved it (Monero) as a clean fork was the merits of the protocol that I stated before and the yuge upgrades all over the code.

Is monero great altcoin to be choose as my investment ? I really want to start investment to altcoins and im looking for the best one where i can easy make a good profit for a month coz next year im having a party which is i want to invite all of my friends Is monero will be the next bitcoin?

Most people here are bullish about Monero and if they were to answer this, up to 90% would probably give you a positive and encouraging answer.

However... a short term profit in a one month time frame?  No-one can honestly give you an honest answer that assures you of this with any certainty.  Simply because this is the world of cryptocurrencies which are highly volatile and very difficult to predict - on any time frame.

My personal belief is Monero is a great investment, but that does not mean in one month I believe it will definitely be a higher price than today.

I think (over a longer term than one month) Monero will do extremely well and of course the GUI and Ring CT should both be here within a month, which is likely to boost the price - but nothing is ever guaranteed.

Do your own research, take a view and make your own decision.  At least if it is wrong it's your own fault, when it's 'someone else's fault' it's far worse.

If you do buy and it does well for you, don't forget to invite us along? ;-)

Has anyone figured out how to store xmr yet?  I don't trust phone wallets or third party services because xmr will probably be $100 this time next year....  Cool

There is no hardware wallet in sight. Really for privacy your best choice is to run a node and use the official client from the command line with a strong password. Not as secure as a hardware wallet but what can you do. I do not care for paper wallets, you may differ.

If XMR can make it up to $100 next year, then we expect a hardware wallet soon. I wonder if we can shoot some requests to hardware wallet manufacturing companies like TREZOR to make one for XMR or for a combination of other crypto currencies. It would be awesome then!

Monero making it to $100 is nice to dream about. Trezor has already looked into it and says they do not have time to incorporate Monero as they are a small team working on getting the Trezor 2 out. Ledger is larger and have stated they have interest but do not have Monero on their roadmap yet.

...the best bet would be STEEM, XMR and BTC. STEEM has a lot of people criticizing it for been a ponzi scheme. Hence many people will not be comfortable to get into it.

How is this a good thing?

Sold a bunch of coins last night including ETH and REP to buy Monero.
Really glad I did since the price of XMR is standing strong.
Maybe I actually made a decent prediction for once!  Tongue

That is a good move. I feel REP and ETH is all set to crash even more and the best bet would be STEEM, XMR and BTC. STEEM has a lot of people criticizing it for been a ponzi scheme. Hence many people will not be comfortable to get into it. BTC  seems like a safe bet, but don't expect to gain much! on the other hand, XMR is very attractive and I feel like the downside is less.

If you just want to store, then make a paper wallet (with multiple copies). For extra security you can do stuff like https://xmr.llcoins.net/

To add, there's a guide for the paranoid:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/48cgmd/an_extensive_guide_for_securely_generating_an/

This guide uses MoneroAddress, but you can easily replace it with https://xmr.llcoins.net/.

In 2017, monero will surely beat ethereum and climb to number two on the charts...

It'll be the cash to btc's bank account. Slightly more ambitious than LTC. With an actual mission bigger than no 2 IMHO
