Shorters are kind of sweet when they start worrying about their position entered under 0.01 or probably lower.

I always want to pat them on the back of the head and sing a soothing children song to them.

Reality is it has been going up for almost a month now despite very sizable dumps.

You may get your chance to exit with a tiny profit if BTC moons but don't expect much more.

XMR is a grown up coin now. I don't expect large hodlers to want to risk missing out on a nice slingshot after a BTC rise.

Aggrhh XMR seems to be keeping a little pace on parity with bitcoin. Not good. All junkies should fall and dive into calamity when btc itches to make another uptrending move. I might exaggerate though but the price rate monero has been demonstrating for quite a while since the recent october doom, this price rate is out of real. Wellz 1100+ K is a lot of money to pay for something that rallies on pathetic finex news, given the fact it was one step away from falling below psychological 0.004 level two weeks ago. Ha. Do the calculations now. 2.5X boost but no developments whatsoever.

Good point, that pump was just before it should doom to save his ass for few more rounds. And it's holding high still.

Bagholders will say it's the real value, it's better then BTC and other bullshit, all I can see is P&D.

0.00883. Nice. Someone should divide the price by four to make me enter.

Are you still waiting?

Seems like we're going down because of BTC going up again.

It seems like XMR really acts as a hedge against BTC, like fluffy said.

In dollar terms, we still have some benefit of the Bitfinex listing.

Although for some reason I don't instinctively think about XMR in dollar terms.  I think of bitcoin in dollar terms, and XMR in bitcoin.
Fingers crossed we'll get an XMR gain soon. I can't see the BTC price staying where it is for so long - although the bitcoin speculation thread seems to think it will top $1k.

did you know that 38% of americans could not point to england on a global map?

LOL bruv, I'll whup yer arse in a geography (or Doctor Who) pub quiz, anytime, any place, and in any state of inebriation.

Did you know the population of the US is measured in the 100s of millions?

Did you know that "more is different?"

Did you know we Yanks (respecting our English heritage) politely refer to that low-information 38% as the "legacy of slavery?"

Would you believe I can do a passable Northern (Manchester/Scottish) brogue, Celtic (Welsh/Irish) lilt, and London Cockney?

And I've never spend more than a few hours mucking about Old Blighty, while on layover at Heathrow.   Wink

Could you match my range of American accents, which ranges from Deep Southern to (all regions of) Texan, to Californian TV English?

Naw princess, you could never.  So rest assured our top 62% is >> than your 100%.   Kiss

Great trolling though.  Keep up the good work, especially on the Dash thread!   Cool

Man, your arrogance is a perfect example of the stereotype many foreigners stereotype about us Americans.  Nice job, pal.  And you know what?  American's in general actually don't know jack about what's happening in the world, or even in the States.  Don't worry, we know YOU know everything...so I hope you don't take offense personally.

Guys, I might have to become a criminal soon, so may be forced to buy XMR.

Ooh, that sounds exciting!

Lost the Walmart job, then? Wink
I'm english kurious, so no. On a related note, did you know that 38% of americans could not point to england on a global map?

Likely the same amount of English could not point on an unlabeled map where the state of Wisconsin was without cheating.

The U.S. Has 50 states so much more than a single country on the map. Your point is moot.

It's shrunk so much that no one even cares where it is. California has almost the same GDP, really england is a non-entity to the world and not deserving of the time spent to write this post. You limeys can enjoy your new laws of saving everyone's browsing history for a decade. I'm sure that will work out well.

BTW Smoothie, I took a pic with the XMR coin you sent as a card protector and the damn phone didn't save it!

Loyalty to the state you just so happened to be born in, by chance, and which forces you to pay taxes to fund its existance, is a bit outdated these days. Swing low, sweet chariot Wink

Hmm. Monero is Higher than ETH in terms of Price. Lets see where it will head soon. Will we see ATH again.....

IMO more appropriate question is when will we see ATH, not if we will see it.
My guess is we will see it during spring 2017, and next year we might actually even break some trading patterns for good. The inflation seems to slow quite a bit which helps also in the bull markets and I am expecting some large money flowing into Monero next year as GUI gets polished.

I think i forgot to put WHEN in it Grin Grin. I truly beleive in Moneros future which is great. Just need to wait and accumulate as much as you can.....

Bally bad show old chap. The old girls just a bit tired.

We are still blighty and there will always be a corner of some foreign field that shall be forever England.

Cheers governor, Monero stiff upper lip and all that. You shall never take our freedoms gentlemens.

December is set to get interesting, we saw a 30% rise based on a bad exchange adding the coin. How far will it go when the GUI is released

yeah if Bitfinex adding the coin is worth a ten percent raise, a proper GUI wallet has to be worth at least a 20-30% gain IMO.
I think the smart move would be to wait a few days for this activity to die down, then make a serious investment in Monero.

So BTC is over 750 on most exchanges now - but XMR doesn't seem to care...

Now we have ousted Dash from Finex, too - it's looking rather rosy - maybe we will not have the December lows of old after all....

If BTC fails to stay over 750 this time, the hopes of any 2013-style run will fade fast and we look a tasty alternative with no scaling problems and no miner wars to stress over.

Gimme that GUI on top of BTC fizzling again and I think things are looking very sweet indeed.

XMR holding tight is surprising... in a good way, December is set to get interesting, we saw a 30% rise based on a bad exchange adding the coin. How far will it go when the GUI is released

Well we are currently up 10% since the news and up 900% since the first of the year

Put it like that and it's impossible to argue it's not been a good year already.

Those numbers are compared to btc which ofc went up as well, so.............

And yet this is just the DAWN

I was going to say 'the crack of Dawn', but let's not go there - she doesn't deserve it.

The waiting has paid certainly paid off - I remember doubling down at 0.001 just to cost average down (with gritted teeth) telling myself 'I know this is the right thing to do' and... it was.
