Buy below 0.011 and you will be fine. I expect a slow recovery, considering the recent good news i would recommend buy/hold. I do not know about which strategy you prefer but i prefer buying during dark times(when bagholders give up and sell), i am not into buying after an initial increase but i can understand the logics behind the latter strategy.

xmr is doing fine now, it is slowly recovering to 0.011, a lot of people will dump when the price gets higher and it will hence take some time before the price goes above 0.012 again. If you doubt xmr is recovering(like N-rG) you can of course wait and pay slightly more.

The holders that dump when the price is low has mostly sold their xmr now, hence the low volume during the drop. What we see now instead is holders waiting for better price to dump, this is why the difference between high and low is decreasing.

Im interested in getting into xmr, would you advise to wait over the weekend and get in near monday? The price went down a lot but I have a feeling it will recover soon

the downtrend was interrupted by the app news. Small hype, now price is falling again. The buy walls are fake as always. I wouldn't trust them. Imagine price goes down to lets say for example 60. Its a loss of nearly 50%

This time it's not going for a short dump below 100 (my speculation)...i think it will drop something between 85 and 60. Followed by some buy activities than down again and finally silence until an important news appeared.

Who knows if not even zcash will make the race about Ransomware for next next weeks. Until moneros's RingCT is not implemented zCash is with zksnark's far more anonymous. And still a missing GUI. Moreover I see some money flowing from monero to zcash (Hype) at release.

I actually didn't expect the price to stay below 0.011 like this, i am also very frustrated with all money i have lost over not selling, Looks like waiting for 0.013 could end up being an expensive mistake.

i guess a lot of new investors will go in now. This low is actually not bad yet, i really hope it's just a temporarry low but i am getting worried by the development. It could be that the recent downtrend was temporary and that the price reversed recently but i still wished i had sold of course. You can easily fool yourself with technical analysis but if you look at the development the last 13 days you see that it alternates between up and downtrends(hopefully the second downtrend has reversed) but you have to look at the fundamentals with cryptocurrencies, i like them with xmr but the price is a lot higher than 50 days ago.

The problem i see now is lack of buy-support, almost all potential investors are waiting for lower price now i guess.

I do not think Alphabay affects the price that much now, not many investors seam to care about that now.

I have misread the technicals multiple times but I am going to take a stand here.

The price is not falling due to panic. There is no panic. We drop every day little %. Its a steadily decrease in demand & volume. People here getting more and more aggressiv cause they lose money. It's neither my problem nor of the one who warned you about a hype. The price is still ~4 times higher than average before AB. Soooo many people here are writing 0.03 is coming. Maybe somewhen it will, but for now below 100 is coming. I understand that some try to make me, adolf and the crazy guy moneyloser -and actually everyone who is realistic- the same person. Do it. But it will not change anything. The Thread here is still not important for the development of a x-million dollar coin.

That you lose money is just your own fault. So grow up and take responsibility. What changed before the AB announcemend up to now about the coin? Nothing right? So the whole price is atm is just a bet/speculation bubble of a use in the future. And atm its highly depending on AlphaBay. If they'll do an exit scam they coin will be at the same price like before. And probably it will never recover than. These are all facts amateur investors totally ignore. Meanwhile hundreds of millions of dollars went to another pockets while from the first ath the coin was flushed to the toilett. And you notice something? No one of you here got a single $ of these millions. DreamMarket will not implement XMR. In their Board is no one is asking for it -except one fake account made at beginning of october probably TrueCrypt or one of you hypers - and they dont want it. It will not come as they said.

Btw. are people who sold high and bought low the only one who have more coins than most of you here in the end. Also who just wait until the real botttom is reached. They sleep well are in no need to get crazy in a forum board because they are losing money every day. But it's a waste of time to post here you'll not understand anyway

Nah, it's all good. We all know N-rg and his socks are shorting or something and wants to crash it. whatever. Nobody here who has any real long term investment really cares to be honest. Thanks for the info though, appreciated!

Yeah, I always expect Smooth to come back to the rescue and clean all of this stuff up and keep things on topic... but I just assume he's got other stuff going on as of now.  This thread has gotten to be unpleasant to read the past couple weeks/month or so.
