bitcointalk user BitcoinEXpress posted 3 days ago about an exploit capable of 'killing' monero. He gave devs a deadline and started a 72h countdown (more info here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/delete-789978)
The attack ended up to be a spam attack which had very little impact. Monero.rs blocked the IPs used in the attack almost instantly.

As for aggregate stats, they are working, we just need to integrate it with the webpage so all individual rigs get listed. This should be done today.
