What happened the the GPU miner for xpm by mltrt? It looks like the thread was deleted. Did it turn out to be a scam/no product?
That is a very good question - he did collect about 60 BTC of donations towards it. I would be surprised if he scammer people though since he a well known user here. Though personally, I am sorta happy this has remained a CPU only coin.

No max coins, though the amount of coins awarded slowly decrease with difficulty increases. At some point though unless ASICs for primecoin are developed, existing processors will take a long time to solve the increasingly difficult prime chains. Number of total coins (seen in OP)

this. Is. AWESOME, just what I needed alongside my coffee. XPM has my vote for long term, although I'm not personally in it for financial gain, but simply because they've done something to deserve it. the amount of power used in the United States to mine each day is upwards of 80k. For useless work outside of getting coin. I'm prefer my power going to some other greater good besides finding block chains. t also makes me think we need to get on some wind power or solar power or something, cuz jeez that's a lot o money over a year in mostly wasted energy. (Unless you're heating your house with a rig
