If the banks adopt the technology of the ripple's blockchain the coin will be very in demand. The financial system can change if it accepts this crypto. But I guess it will not happen before three years from now. Therefore, I regard this coin only as a long-term investment.
The escrow is surrely a giant leap forward for xrp! The value behind xrp/ripple is incredible.. Nothing to compare, but well, IOTA and Stellar might be as valuable as XRP in future. Xrp is still so much underrated, but I think this is the course of building real value sustainably!
However what do you think about that, Fiat currencies have often a reserve currency, as many currencies do in relation to USD. What I see in crypto is that bitcoin might be the reserve for various altcoins, but not for XRP. If there will be a major correction in btc vs. usd, what do you think will happen with xrp?
So in my opinion every crypto investor with a little common sense should invest in xrp because this coin has so much unexploided value!

Where did you find that the altcoins were getting back? XRP was 0.00003 at the end of November and now XRP is 0.000016... The altcoins are going at where they started... It is just a matter of hours or days before Bitcoin continue his rampage... 
XRP manages to hold on to the $0.25 mark pretty well. I know the $1 is an often talked about target, when do you think it could go 4x and hit the magic number? What would be the target after $1?

it doesn't seems to have made a big change on the price, but a think we will see something real good coming out from this in the long term
