Ripple has not tried to hide the fact that they would like to make deeper inroads into the Asian economy, and many people believed that last week’s conference reveal would include a major announcement about a partnership with an Asian bank or corporation. The Ripple price swelled leading up to the announcement but tanked after the details did not live up to investor hype.Despite warning their residents to avoid cryptocurrency, the PBoC has quietly opened a “Digital Currency Institute” to research ways to digitize and transact CNY banknotes on a centralized, state-controlled blockchain. 
Hard to buy on the rumours and sell on the news, when the movement happened too quickly. But such is the way of trading.
Looks still like Ripple can be a good buy now, especially after the tank. Now this Dig Currency Institute if the hype is real, could open up a lot of possibilities. We arere looking at so many state-owned blockchains now.
Banks were dropping out! No more Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Nab, Cross River Bank, SHRB, Star One Credit Union etc in Ripple website.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch dropped out could be related to this https://bravenewcoin.com/news/bank-of-america-merrill-lynch-hsbc-and-ida-develop-a-blockchain-prototype-solution-for-trade-finance/. They are no longer Ripple user but remains as Advisor only.

I had completely forgotten about Jed. When was he allowed to sell his share? I though it was not until Nov'2017. Either way it definitely answers some questions i was thinking. He's mad if it is him, i would at least wait until ripple was worth 2x as much, especially considering that stellar is not performing right now.
I guess keep away for the moment and check back again if what xrp will be in the next 1-2 weeks.

Actually the sell wall might not be bought. As the price came close, the seller just cancel its sell order, and therefore, you could not find this sell order, and it looks like the sell wall is bought. Now the seller set up another sell wall at another higher price so you find it they are back again. The good news of finding such big sell wall is that it indicates that the whales are collecting XRP at their bounded low price (through the sell wall effect), and once they collect enough qty, they will start to pump the price up. So now the best strategy is to collect XRP same as the whales so you could join the pump and dump games with the whales later on. Otherwise, you could just only look at the price and say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

I don't find it strange that these kind of deals happen. Even though Ripple is not as proven as say Bitcoin, but there are actually very few super experts in the field of blockchain. How can there when it is still a new thing, right? I doubt this means price jump for Ripple - just another client to teach blockchain to.
I am waiting for the good moves from Ripple. I am still holding my XRP for the long period of time. Hope to finally get back my capital and earn atleast 3x. Unlike from other coins in just a couple of days i am earning but not in XRP but i still believe in XRP.

Ripple is again making its move right now. After some dump, this movement XRP has as of the moment will be going to the top later. We are already approaching 7% in Bittrex. This will double up in the next several hours most probably before it dips again.
