http://www.expedia.com/Checkout/BitcoinTermsAndConditions

Powered by Coinbase. Our acceptance of Bitcoin is powered by our partner, Coinbase. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the availability of Coinbase’s services. To complete your booking, you will be re-directed to Coinbase’s website, where you will see the total cost of your booking in Bitcoin, based on an exchange rate set by Coinbase. The Bitcoin price for your booking will remain valid for 10 minutes. If you do not initiate a payment during this time, the Bitcoin exchange rate will be updated and the Bitcoin price for your booking may change.

Bitcoin network transaction fees. As with nearly all Bitcoin transactions, a very small transaction fee (a “miner’s fee”) will be added by the Bitcoin network to the total cost in Bitcoin of your booking if you are sending Bitcoin from a non-Coinbase wallet. This fee covers the cost of verifying Bitcoin transactions. Expedia has no control over this fee and does not receive any portion of the fee.

Bitcoin transactions are final. Once you initiate a Bitcoin transaction, you cannot cancel it (provided however that you may seek a refund per our refund policy described below). This is inherent in the nature of the Bitcoin network, not a policy set by Expedia.

Under payments and over payments. If, using a Coinbase wallet, you attempt to initiate a payment of Bitcoins different from the exact cost of the booking indicated by Coinbase, your booking will not complete. If, using a non-Coinbase wallet, you initiate a payment of Bitcoins different from the exact cost (plus miner’s fees) of the booking indicated by Coinbase your booking will not complete however your payment maybe processed by the Bitcoin network, in which case your payment will be refunded by Coinbase. After a failed payment you will be required to re-submit payment for the correct amount in order to complete the booking and the Bitcoin exchange rate may update.

Transactions complete once confirmed. Once a Bitcoin transaction is submitted to the Bitcoin network, it will be unconfirmed for a period of time (usually about an hour, but sometimes longer) pending full verification of the transaction by the Bitcoin network. A transaction is not complete until it is fully verified.

XRP is superior to btc in the highlighted areas

ok by the looks of it, we need XRP on coinbase before expedia prob use it
when coinbase do add it,
XRP could be added to expdia if we let them know the benefits and ease of using XRP.

another thing to remember is, all the merchants before 2017, added btc when its marketcap was under $5bill
today XRP market cap is more than double that.

(member berries, it might be alot easier to target business that already accept btc, just tell them XRP is cheaper and faster than anything else)

XRP doesn't have any momentum anymore, looks like either sideways movement of new falls in my opinion.

What are you talking about?
XPR price is solid like a rock.

XRP is a longterm investment (2-3+ years).
If you want to become a billioner within 2-3 months - change thread.

Dont get it why you have called yourself "investinator" lol....
Comingto butthurttalk and telling others "sidewaymovements and fall" is clearly a sign of a "Masturbator" not a investor lol

Just a thought..

While Ripple team works hard to push XRP to FI and other places...

what are we doing as a community for XRP?
i know we buy/sell/trade/spread the word/fight the trolls

i actually think alot of time has been spent on forums answering the same thing over and over,
its time to move on, anyone thats wants to hear the same thing, just point them to old links and move on.

Now we also know that nothing comes near the speed and cost savings XRP offers...so..
why dont we let all the crypto/btc merchants know about this?
We should be targetting this huge market for long term, so why not start now?

some huge names and im sure there is many more not on the list (its from 2016)

Expedia.com – Online travel booking agency takes btc...i want them to accept XRP too...lets do it  Smiley

but XRP isnt breaking that 9800  Wink

Yeah, I know what you mean, that's horrible. Everythin's red on coinmarketcap today.  Angry

And yes, losing just -1.95%, like XRP did, isn't that bad compared to many other cryptos.

Hope that's a temporary thing, the blood I mean.

Ripple is not going down because it has stable floor and value is representing the potential just like few months ago situation when it was staying months at some specific price range. Ripple is most reliable coin among all available right at the moment. I also have bought at 8k satoshi range and holding to get maximum in long run.

That's right. Current price is almost the same: ~ 10K sat.
And XRP price on coinmarketcap is affected by only BTC price.

XRP is a sleeping giant!

XRP is gasoline for a bankers private yet. XRP is like attaching nipples to the public and suck them dry.  It's a vampire coin. If  you stick to ripple you will end up with paper foodstamps and singing the ripple blues on street corners to make a living

Looool

So us who are making the same moves as the bankers are ........ getting the private jets without the gas?

If Ripple is so shit why don't you tell us what is so great?

So why must there be  something great for something that is shit? Strange logic. In cryptoworld functionally everything is crap and without a purpose. Maybe  monero has some real purpose. To get  nosesniff anonymously to your house

Lol are you a child? Thats what i was doing in my late teens and early 20s with crytpo haha

In 2013 i lost access to 2 wallets on alphabay, each had over 15 btc in.

And if you are on this board, especially in the speculation section, why tell me something is shit without a comparison? Wouldn't that just be trolling?

You ripple haters are obvious to me you fall into 3 easily identifiable groups.

1. Eth fanboys. Btc lovers don't seem to hate xrp as much as the MethHeads. We get it your blockchain can't scale, Putin loves it blah blah blah aint too late to also jump on the Ripple train and tbh eth functions will soon relie on xrpl to process transactions just so they don't get busted like during the status ico. (Just my speculation, no evidence yet)

2. BrOke boys lol. People who can't afford to invest in anything, that hold maybe one eth and some doge. Why you are here i don't know go back to your day job amd save up to get in.

3. The daytraders, pump amd dumpers, immature hands (literal children). Who have yet to realise that xrp aint for you. That we holders don't really care what you think of Ripple the company or their ideas. Who couldn't see past a weeks worth of trades if their life depended on it. Personally i think the day traders are the worst people in crypto. We have vaporware worth hundreds of millions while real work gets ignored.

There is 4th category, with some bucket of psychological issues, that is where comp tends to be. Though, in age of tolerance, I would rephrase, that 4th category is narrow thinking with constantly narrowing borders of the box.

Come on hurry up to Google to find new senile animated gifs.

Why ripple is no longer active in the market
It seems Ripple price always stay at the price of 10K or 9K
It will pump soon lately when it was on the price of 500sats it's stay in that price about months and then PUMP so hard investing in trading you need a patience XRP is for longterm i think developers making a move now just wait for it it will make noise to the market soon maybe a few weeks or months better if you will buy more XRP's because it is in the lowest price and HODL it, In the future you will get a good profit but if you want a short term trading do a MARGIN trading on poloniex.

i agree with you on everything except MARGIN, thats extremely risky and you probably will get wiped out

Im buying as much XRP as i can now

This month everything changes, forever

btc is going to fork soon = not good
eth is going to fork soon = not good

XRP is coming onto the biggest crypto/fiat platform we have ever seen in SBI VC

i saw the side effects of a split user fork...when etc was forced upon us by polo & co...
eth dropped alot because of it, took almost 6months+lots of hard work from the eth team to keep eth going and reach new highs

if btc forks, this will lead to fud 100%, a split user base and split in value....only after the dust settles btc/btcu might rise to new highs
all it will take is one exchange to list the alt version of btc...then all the other coins that have bitcoin in thier name will just add to the confusion.
