ok i keep seeing trolls in a box lol saying banks wont use XRP, but only Ripple ...well

The Ripple ledger saves banks 30%  or over 60% if the banks use XRP

This is one use case...XRP is doing much much more

Now watch out for the biggest green candles ever  Tongue

I don't know if people are trolling or don't have a clue sometimes, but FI leaving R3 is actually quite positive for Ripple.

I think it was an attempt at trolling yes. As they ignored everything I said. lol

PathShuffle Turning Ripple Into A Fully Anonymous Cryptocurrency
Tamer Sameeh March 2, 2017

An Overview of PathShuffle:

PathShuffle was presented in a recently published paper as the first ever path mixing protocol for Ripple’s path based transactions. The paper introduced “path mixing”, a unique approach to mitigate deanonymization attacks in Ripple and credit networks in general. Path mixing assumes that each user has two wallets; an input wallet and an output wallet. The path mixing protocol will transfer the predetermined amount, let’s say β IOU, from every input wallet to every output wallet so that an attacking adversary, who controls a significant part of the network, cannot determine which pair of input and output wallets belong to whom. This is noted as “successful path mixing”.
"
PathShuffle is fully compatible with Ripple’s network as proven by the creators’ proof-of-concept implementation, who managed to successfully carry out real-time coin mixing transactions over Ripple’s network.

Despite the bad news, XRP's market cap and value still remains high. It's a bit surprising but I can definitely see the value that XRP brings to the table. The biggest complaint is how XRP is centralized to some degree.

i don't think it's bad news necessarily, i guess my post was partly thinking out loud, haha. i'm always interested/curious in the moves that jp morgan chase makes because they're the largest full service investment bank in the world. they bought something like 400 million tons of physical silver a few years ago... as many holders of PM's, (precious metals) and financial experts / investors believe the PM market is heavily suppressed/rigged, jp morgan knows something or is setting up for something. i'm just connecting dots.

i'm a long term xrp holder, only want the best for them Smiley

JPMorgan Chase & Co leaves blockchain consortium R3
http://ca.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idCAKBN17T2T4-OCABS

"JPMorgan parted ways with R3 to pursue a very distinct technology path which is at odds with the one chosen by the global financial services industry, represented by our 80-plus members," said Charley Cooper, a managing director at R3.

JPMorgan declined to comment.

JPMorgan's move follows the departure of other large banks from the R3 consortium.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N: Quote), Banco Santander SA (SAN.MC: Quote), Morgan Stanley (MS.N: Quote) and National Australian Bank left the group in quick succession in late 2016, as R3 proceeded with its fundraising plans.

Like the other banks that have left the group, JPMorgan is involved in other blockchain initiatives."

what bad news m8?
also "how XRP is centralized to some degree" ....is what works in its favour, governance is quicker allowing it to evolve and progress faster without miners carry on (example, look at how segwit &  miners are manipulating decentralized crypto's for personal gain)
and getting the XRP tech patented could only happen with some degree of centralization.

I have a complete opposite view from yourself, i say...despite the good news, XRP value remains low.( but not for long  Tongue )

Totally different technologies.

yup, i know they're different, i'm just a conspiracy theorist when it comes to jp morgan chase because they single handedly own/run/suppress financial markets.

jp morgan chase is the largest full-service investment bank w/ goldman sachs being #2. see where i'm going?

Totally different technologies.

"Ripple has created the first global decentralized transactions settlement network and the first open and decentralized liquidity marketplace for banks and other type of liquidity providers.
On the other hand, R3 is creating a shared ledger solution for financial agreements between financial institutions.
Ripple aims to give rise to the Internet of Value, making the movement of value as seamless as the movement of information today.
R3 aims to create the best distributed technology for financial agreements between banks and other financial institutions and/or customers. The best smart contracts solution for FIs, and ultimately all their customers.
Ripple and R3 create complementary solutions, aiming to transform financial infrastructure worldwide."

I found this explanation of Ripple and R3. I'm pretty sure nothing is faster than Ripple and XRP for transactions, except maybe visa with high interest?

I think this thread performed very well in support of XRP, and here we have an increase on 30-40% almost 1000 satoshi in 24h. Everyone who were concerned in buying on 2700-3000 are happy now. And you know what? Its just a beginning!

Well done!
