Yes, you are right we don't see any price improvement in altcoin, still, Bitcoin dominance is kept increasing which the value of Bitcoin is kept increasing and decreasing, this makes many altcoin prices keep on decreasing. I hope XRP is another potential coin which has a higher potential in the long run.

I do not think there are some significant movements that push price of ripple higher. I think the price rise in XRP is a general trend when a market gets corrected and rise. Since the beginning of the year of 2019, the market has got some significant rise with most of the coins rising in price. So the impact of this market surge has been on XRP.

XRP might be cheap but i don't like the market movements. it hadly moves from 0.35 to 0.45. trough out this year. the price has not fallen above or below this price range. i think it not worth an investment besides it is centralized. it is under the influence of some people.
