I really think before XSI goes on MintPal, it should make 1 release or at the very least an update on what they are working on, not to create hype but to create demand and exposure. We all know at this current stage, if it goes on MintPal, its going to see a small spike followed by a massive dump. Just look at the track histories of the other coins that got into Mintpal via the voting process. Most recently ENC EntropyCoin. ENC was holding steady at 3k on bittrex, then it got voted to mintpal, it got pumped to 4.5k then shortly after a massive dump to 800 sats, pretty much destroying it..now it is at 100sats!
Conclusion- we are better off going on Mintpal through high demand and high volume, so have them add XSI once its profitable through high volume and has established innovation. Right now its flying under the radar, it has the rep of just another alt (but we all know that is not the case), and nobody talks about it. MintPal has killed almost every coin that has gone there through the voting process, remember that everyone.

I definitely agree that getting more people mining at the multipool will create volume, and help us garner more attention. My only concern was creating a pump n dump scenario.

From all indications, the pool is working extremely well. Have not heard of any issues.

Lets start applying hash at regular intervals as you suggest, and see what effect that has on volume and price.

In regards to the multipool response... At no time did I mention this strategy was aimed at dumping my bag. I was merely pointing out that I have a stake in this. I've been on this coin from day 1 of the old version.

We have always welcomed feedback from the community. I would like to hear other people's opinions on the multipool topic.

My concern is that after the price and volume increase rapidly that this would lead to a drop. Our goal is to make this a long-term project, and if the price and volume revert back to the current position then this only served to get a quick profit.

There are many big things on the horizon. We are working on expanding the team, adding merchants, and incorporating new features. I have invested more time and money than anyone, and with no pre-mine or IPO, this has been all done to create a sustainable community.

You can find dozens of coins that are pump and dumps, or developers that took off with the pre-mine, or sold all their shares at the 1st chance they got. We are committed to the community, and hopefully the 100's of hours of work, and 1,000's of coins we have used from our own pocket demonstrate our level of seriousness.

I totally agree here. I had a couple of rentals pushed to the pool and the payout works really well and it pushes the volume and price.

We should get a collective together to hit it as hard as we can.

I know a guy in my hometown that has 70+ cards. Its a monster farm. I will try and get in touch with him and see if he's willing to mine XSI for a few days.

Let's see how many we can get involved and get a date set.

Hey devs, I have an idea re getting the price headed in the right direction. The multipool could be used as a strategic tool to pump some volume and value into XSI. Could we co-ordinate the miners amongst us to apply some hash to the multipool at a given time, for a specified period? I don't know how efficient the pool is yet, but for the sake of this cool little community (and my bag of XSI!), I would be well prepared to give some hash for a few days to try it?

If we all got together it might make a difference. I emphasise the need for a co-ordinated given start time and period here.
