UPDATE!!

I am off long term sick and may be in and out of treatment for several weeks. Despite of this I have a hired programmer that I will catch up with in a few days. The white paper is almost done and we have plans and we have no intention to abandon this. There are still a number of people actively involved and when I am back on feet properly I will drive this forward.

In that respect and since I am in a hospital bed, I am looking for a person that can act as "exec manager" if you will so that I can keep in touch with. I will also set up a small group where the programmers and a temp "exec manager" and myself can communicate. I do not have the capacity to keep up with everyone. We currently have some funds for development but someone else will have to steer for a while until we are all back in good health.

Want to steer the project for a while, PM me here. I will read messages once a day. Nullsec is an admin in the Slack channel.

We have NOT abandoned this!

Hopefully you get well soon and do not burden yourself this project share to your reliable programmers so that this project always smoothly run with great success

Just concentrate on getting back to health. Putting things on hold for a while won't change our long term prospects. Wishing you the best, and speedy recovery!
I agree. Get healthy first. Don't stress yourself in the hospital. Leave the project in the hands of others right now.

the complete lack of github activity isn't exactly instilling confidence... Is there development going on?

Things are moving along anyway with one of the original devs back.
Very encouraging that jbg has been on the Slack channel most everyday this week and working hard.
And nullsec is working on a new site.

I hope Mandica is feeling better. Any idea when she might be back with us?

Yes, it's soon. Mandica told us clearly, in Slack, the answer to your concern.  Smiley

Hello Guys I am keeping my Xspec in my windows client and trying to staking but I have a issue.
My have around 20k xspec in my wallet by while staking my weight is only 99 and at the current network weight I will earn a reword in 37 days Cry.
I tried to restart but the situation didn't change, anyone knows how to fix it?

How recently were the coins received in the wallet?  I have found that it takes roughly 24 hrs for recently received coins to begin staking.

Hi thanks for your reply.
The coin were in the wallet for more than a 24 hour, anyway everything resolved, the client crashed and when I re-lunched it everything was working fine. Cheesy

running win 10 home and current xspec wallet just restarted and it hit 7 connections almost off the bat, right now it has 19 connections and usually after a day its 25+.
What's really exciting is there's improvements coming in a matter of days.
Things will break fast then.

I have 37 active connections  Smiley

My Spectre wallet client refuses to sync the last 850ish blocks from 13 hours ago. The wallet has been running perfectly (and fully synced) for the past week or so up until now.

I've left it open for a few hours and it's got 7+ active connections to the SpectreCoin network, but it still won't finish syncing. Does anyone know of any solutions to get the wallet properly synced?

Thanks!

The Spectrecoin network, is working very well, (15 active connections to spectrecoin network) (my reading).
A practical solution, which gives results many times, is to close the wallet, then disconnect from the internet,
(one minute the router off) and start again.

Thanks for the help. I opted to just delete the blockchain data and let it re-sync. We'll see if this fixes it.

Even better jbg, the main xspec wallet and android app dev is back after enduring his own time with health problems.
The exchange prices you see now are starting to ease upwards double digits.....better get it while you can.
