Just one thing you guys should add when you have time multisig  .Coin wont be used on the markets  widely till then
Bitcoin does not use multisig. I say, because Bitcoin is widely used in the markets.
Multisig is useful for heavily centralized systems.
That is contrary to the spirit of Spectrecoin.

What market place you on Huh?Every tor marketplace requires multisig now .Unless you have a separate  wallet for multisig good luck getting this coins used on any market place

You can easily get Spectrecoin is these exchanges:

Criptopia:             https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=XSPEC_BTC

C-Cex:                 https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=xspec-btc

Novaechange:      https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XSPEC

CoinGather:         https://www.coingather.com/exchange/XSPEC/BTC

Livecoin:              https://www.livecoin.net/   <---(login)---

Coming soon: Bittrex and Poloniex.

The question was not about which exchanges this coin is listed on; it was about being accepted for use on Tor marketplaces, such as Alphabay for example.

Can anyone confirm whether it is true what this poster claimed, that every Tor marketplace requires multisig?  I have never accessed any of those, but I can see how incompatibility with Tor marketplaces could inhibit the adoption of a currency whose key selling point is anonymity/untraceability.

A feature what I'm really missing, is that the addresses and balances are encrypted. For example,if you open for example a bytecoin wallet you can't see anything:
No transactions , no balances ,no addresses unless you type in the pass phrase.
I think this is not so difficult to develop and is an important feature when it comes to privacy.

A question about staking let say i have 100k in spec coins   i wish  Grin   .What would be the optimum for POS mining   10 wallets  with 10k each are 100k in the one?HuhHuh

Doesn't make a difference, unless there is a stake reward curve, which I don't know about. Normally the stake probability should be linear to the amount of coins you have in that address.

Is it just me or is the cryptopia volume kinda suspicious?

I guessing the whales are buying before it hits poloniex  (inside trading happens all the time ) Grin .Believe me  before a coin hits poloniex the whales have to have there share.

If it's true, that will be a big thing for XSPEC. A big pump will be easy thing. Let's see what will happen.

Spectre network is running on the Tor network only, that's why all nodes are only accessible via Tor:
Yep, i was trying them via Tor, and all were timing out.

The onion ones from cryptoid.info worked, thank you.

Is the network alive?
I'm trying to connect to the seed nodes with a custom client, and am getting no response from any of them and two block explorers.

Here are the ones i tried, port 37347:

spectre.cash
cryptoid.info
spectreproject.io
node1.spectreproject.io
node2.spectreproject.io
node3.spectreproject.io
node4.spectreproject.io

Alternatively, can someone provide an address of a known-good node?

Code:

addnode=ywlwlc6simzdlolk.onion

Freely taken from: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xspec/#!network

Just add these nodes to your wallet, Spectre will automatically connect to Tor and to these nodes.

I love how this coin is consolidating near its all time highs while most of the others are crashing.  This is a very bullish sign.

This morning alone, a sudden influx of 37 btc has made the volume 8-10 times a daily record! Someone is taking full advantage of the dip caused by update delays and betting big on the devs to deliver! Someone has faith in this coin.

ALL ABOARD!!!

Hey we got a gold mine coin here - Tor Integrated- untrecable, using good all ShadowCash code - I think these 10-12 cents can't hold it too long. Of course if this have an active development and we users promotes the coin ...

That's right, Spectrecoin has a clear vision of its project, and that's why it's improving the code right now, the idea is very simple, to be a coin with the best feature of anonymity possible. In fact, its current success, is because it already includes the main privacy features. Now after debugging the code, it will be reviewed by international experts who certify the security of the same. Meanwhile, the price will remain low, until we can announce these improvements certified and people can be sure that the code of this currency, fulfills its goal of privacy. This is a serious project and takes the time to do things well.  Roll Eyes

In response to a publication that tries to create doubts, about our neutral position,

Just a very quick update. I'm in the hospital for at least another week or two but the project goes on. Work is happening so we are very much alive but behind. Just to let you know why I have been silent. Work goes on.

I came out of the hospital today, I hope you went better too. Hope to see you soon and in good health

get well soon and take your time to recover. i guess most serious investors (me included) are in for the long run.
we don't care about some extra months and some quick gains.

i really enjoy my staking party in meantime and buy some more on dips  Cool.

remember health, family and friends always goes first!

Cheers and have a good time all
