It's not uncommon for people to opportunistically fud a project to drive down price so they can buy massive amounts just to make a quick buck.
Buy 100 btc worth of verge right now and see where you are in 8 weeks.

You have to know a project thoroughly and understand it's future valuation or you're just trading blindly and listening to facebook or twitter idiots.

Take this seriously enough to understand what is happening around you.

And don't listen to the "XVG to $5 soon" people. Their lack of understanding coinmarketcap will wreck them eventually.
