Anyone has any idea what triggered the sudden price spike?
Hello, i am new in cryptos and planing to invest some $ in verge, but now i wonder if 100 people own 75% of current verge amount isn't that bad? I mean i feel like if price jumps x2 these whales will just sell their XVG and price drops again or it won't happen like this? Just please someone explain me about this wealth distribution maybe it's not even bad..?
Don't buy in now, it is at the top of a massive pump. You may make some money if you buy in a small dip and it continues rising....but if you intend to hold XVG long-term I would suggest you wait and there will be a correction, as this is not natural growth. Hold tight and you should be able to buy in at a much lower price.
Verge Windows/OSX wallets are offline after installation - how can i connect? (is there some new list of servers and ports)?
Verge is based on Bitcoin code, right? What other project code is involved? I see it's a multi algo (myriad was 1st to introduce multi algo?)...

It's obvious Verge cannot be stopped now. The Asian market (Binance) is taking XVG straight to $4 range just like they did to IOTA and now Verge. Look at the traded volume. Unbelievable.

Finally XVG is getting the deserved attention! Certainly, this current price still does not reflect the true price.
The sudden increase in price is due to John McAfee's tweet followed by interview, as well as the upcoming Wraith Protocol. I have not jumped onto the Verge train though. Feel like doing it now... Any veteran can offer me an advice? To jump on board now or to wait for a day or two, just in case the price further dips? Thanking you in advance!
been trading verge for the last 2 days. everytime it hits a new high it dips about 15-25%. it just hit a new high.
you may wait for it to dip to 315-325 sat level.
of course i may be wrong!

I bought some XVG yesterday, i also think this is going to be one of the Pearls of 2018! A lot of new people will com into crypto this year and they like cheap coins. Also the privacy is a great thing that can compete against Monero and Zcash. New people in crypto will go for something that's below a dollar. I expect a Verge price of 0.40 till 0.60 by May.
