$XVG - The Standard in Crypto as a Currency!
The Dev of this coin acting like a little dictator. I invested 3 btc in this shit coin and i posted 2 coments regard the price. This Dictator deleted both.

$XVG - The Standard in Crypto as a Currency!
I've looked into $XVG coin and it seems legit, however I can't see regular developer activity in the github repo here
https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/commits/master.

Is that normal or does the work to improve/extend this coin happen elsewhere?

well there are also branches, and we have copies of the source code on our computer that we work on before we push changes.

right now verge's blockchain is working flawlessly, what is it you were looking for?

also,

https://github.com/vergecurrency is the main repository where everything is kept. you were only looking at the source code for the chain itself.

I have just seen this coin on the bittrex exchange and I think this is good coins for investment but I'm really interested in the some special things such as masternode and segwit in the future so do you intend to make some more developments like this?

we are considering segwit after we see how it pans out for ltc...

can i ask why you would want to see masternodes and segwit on verge's blockchain?

Thanks for the clarification. I'm new to cryptocurrencies and I assumed most of the work occurs on the main VERGE repo.

Some news here? Price is falling
Price was less than 10sat two weeks ago - I'd expect at least a little retracement in the price following the explosion.

Probably not the place for it but I´m not sure where else to ask. I ran out of space syncing the verge wallet so I moved it to another drive. When I start syncing again, it starts over in the same place.
Where do you change the directory in which to sync?

you can use the --datadir flag, so say you want to use a different hard drive, assuming windows OS.

verge --datadir=D:\vergedata\

and that will start using a different folder. also you can download the data faster than syncing from vergecurrency.de

dont forget to copy your wallet.dat over to the new directory!

Thanks for replying. Where do I change the datadir flag though? I´ve got a file named VERGEd. If I click on it, I get a dos interface that pops up. Is that where I change the dir?

well if you are using the qt exe, or the d .exe, you just put it at the end of the command line. if you're using windows, just right click the qt.exe, and make a shortcut, then in the new shortcut properties, add that flag after the .exe

So I´m starting to feel like a complete idiot. Which is probably an accurate description in this case. But I´m not used to doing stuff like this. At all. Just want to clarify that this is about changing the blockchain directory for the Windows wallet. Someone mentioned a miner previously. So just to avoid misunderstandings.

So I make a shortcut of the Verge-qt.exe
Click properties
But now I´m lost. You say change the flag and add the --datadir=D:\vergedata\ flag.
I can´t figure that out. The only place in properties where it let´s me add anything after the .exe is in the path and I´m not allowed to change anything there?

your using a bat file to start the miner,  you add the flag in that line.

(memory...)    like  -u giantkin -p x0x -dir   etc

I should be right...but if im wrong, someone will correct and yell at me Wink

Oh That would be sweet.  Are there any issues or enhancements because it can run via Tor or I2P?

no, smart contracts wouldnt conflict.. i suppose making them via i2p or tor does enhance the privacy of it though =]
It would be the first anonymous smart contracts ever on a blockchain, I believe.
BTW Hashrate topped 1000.
Is Hashinator back?

all 5 of our algo's have alot of people mining  Grin
