For all the people that keep asking Dev to request poloniex....there's only so much a dev can do.
It's better if you read and use this.

$XVG - The Standard in Crypto as a Currency!
This one is about 2 years old....but may be ok. I really like this site, has all kinds of miners, reviews and info.
http://cryptomining-blog.com/?s=X17

Hey whats up Beachguy, looks like the same stuff i was looking at. And it also seems more of the x17 mining updates were geared towards nvidia and ccminer cuda. It's all good, i'm happy to mine XVG with myr-grs. Getting like 20,000/day with that algo.

Anyone mining x17? what kind of hash are you getting?

i am, on ccminer.org, and im getting a fair amount of xvg per day.. using sgminer 4.2.2 im averaging about 3mh/s with my r9 290x

Hey Dev I take it back, x17 is mining nice with my AMD cards (2) 7950's (1) R9 390 (had to tweak config).  Getting 2mh/s on each 7950 and like 3.2 mh/s on the R9 390.

Also i needed to have patience for the payments to start catching up to my wallet. I'm making more VERGE with x17 than with myr-grs. Oh wait i mean, nobody mine x17........   Wink

yeah im mining with x17 and scrypt

not liking what i'm hearing about Bleutrade here Sad

I have used/use Bleutrade for trading, including XVG.
It might be good if there was a win/win way to keep Verge listed there.
That said, the withdrawal of my XVG as they requested went fine.

edit: I am a little confused here... were they just asking to withdraw coins for maintenance?

heelo dogecoindarkdev can you ask poloniex to add XVG ?

Several ppl have put up req for polo.   Fill out the add coin thing  (i think thats the one that does it that way)

and if they get enough req, they would add it.

I haven't checked on Doged for a long time so I thought I'd have a look. Lots has changed!!

Looks great, Dev. I think the rebranding to Verge was ingenious. Keep up the good work!

Bleutrade Team (Bleutrade)
May 13, 14:29

"version" : "v2.1.0.0-87922b3-beta",
"protocolversion" : 90001,
"walletversion" : 60000,
"blocks" : 382013,
We are restoring a backup from a previous version (block 381957) and we will put the current version of the executable (2.1).
The malfunction occurs in synchronization. The system stops synchronizing in some blocks and we must restart the wallet.
We are nearby to synchronize it with the current version, but it already takes a few days.

Best regards,
Bleutrade Team.

this was my response:

wow a few days? on a $10 dollar digital ocean droplet, i can compile and sync a verge daemon from scratch in about 2-3 hours tops.. what kind of computer is it on that takes a few days? lol

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

im sure as you can imagine, i compile and sync verge daemons quite a bit. on a $10 a month vps (only 1 core, only 2gb ram) i can usually fully sync a verge daemon in about 2-3 hours.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the syncing process mostly limited by your internet connection? It could be that your VPS has a faster connection and/or more reachable nodes than wherever Bleutrade's servers are located.

I am glad they are working on it and told us where the problem is.

yess it's depending of his bandwith and internet conection, but i think the exchanger like bleutrade must have good server/VPS .

im just not very happy with them saying that its being delisted due to a malfunction in the wallet, when the only "malfunction" was someone not reading their email/tweets about the update, and they forked

 Angry

as far as them delisting, i could care less, i just dont like the blame being put on us when it's completely their fault.

I don't blame you. It's not the first time I've seen an exchange drop the ball and blame the devs.

On the one hand I would hate to try to keep an exchange working and up to date on every coin that some of them carry.
On the other......when the whole community knows its NOT THE WALLET......and they spout some bs and just don't admit...."Hey, we're behind and updating the wallet"....they come off as liars. Don't they know that is nOT a trait someone looks for where they keep their coin? Big depositer or not.

It's the reason these rinky dinky exchanges stay that way. They can kill a coin fast to when its not on the mainstream exchanges.

When you get your coins back....move them to a good exchange and don't look back.

yeah, when i inform bittrex of an update, they usually respond immediately.

Remember all the down wallets from Cryptsy. They had NO problem blaming the majority of that on devs. I know because I had several email exchanges with them about certain coins that I knew weren't broken that they were telling me where broken or they couldn't get in touch with a dev. Problem was in 2 cases I had a dev copied on all the emails we were sending and they were anxious and willing to help. So I knew then that Cryptsy was lying and I started pulling my money out.

Of course, now we all know that Paul Vernon was off spending those coins. At one point I had over 40 million DOGED on Crypsty but I safely added it to my cold wallet.

When I first got into VERGE I had a similar situation with C-CEX that drove me nuts, but the main thing here is I don't think the coins will be lost and users will be paid. (I'm at least hopeful anyways). When it happened to me a while back with C-CEX I think it took 72 hours or so to rectify itself. But my complaints were the same... This wallet is one of the easiest to compile, it's one of the many reasons I like this coin so much...lol

My GUESS is these exchanges like Bleutrade and C-CEX don't actually do any real coding (like me), so they have to hire others to fix or maintain.

well, im guessing that Bleutrade never read their emails about the update to 2.1. There is no malfunction in the wallet, the only malfunction was in the brain of whoever is in charge of updating wallets over there.

I opened a support ticket about it and told them to update.

I've always gotten responses to tickets at Bleu so we'll see.

Agreed and I will no longer be using them because of this either. Bleutrade made a BIG mistake here!
