Market on Bittrex is down again…

Not good for the coin reputation to be down all the time, unattractive for investors

Never Leave more coins sitting on an exchange than what you are willing to Lose!!! polo will be next gox imo and it s not far.
l m happy that moved my xvg from all sites
keep your back-ups safe
good luck

I will just say this about Polo.

If you where around a few years ago then you might remember that Polo got hacked and had BTC stolen. Instead of closing shop like a lot of exchanges did back then (and today, looking at you Cryptsy (although I still feel an inside job)) they stayed open and payed everyone back their BTC. Yes they raised fees for a short time to help but they stayed around and did the right thing. I was one of them.

I use Polo whenever I can.

But don't leave coins on any exchange that you can't afford to lose. Period.
Yep I was around and remember it well , and applaud them for how they handled the situation!!

polo will be next gox- neo1947

Last time i saw chatter like that, Cryptsy went Gox. Glad i never joined Poloniex. Looks like we dont need to get listed there after all.

i'm not aware of them having any issues.

The wallet and markets at bittrex were in maintenance mode for a bit last night , I think it had to do with re-syncing the blockchain as at one stage it was saying it was 16 hrs behind , so I believe they were re-downloading it , but everything is all good atm , and as for Poloniex , all FUD, there is no problem there except for the normal things most exchanges have , they are solid and have always been !

Everything is fine on Polo.

I agree it's smart to not keep too much on any one exchange but getting listed there would be great for us so let's stop ripping them here please.

Why is XVG trading halted at Bittrex?

its not

It was just a little while ago. Must have come back online within the last 20 minutes.

Probably was minor.

Mining Pool Hub
What do I have to do to sync blockchain.
I operated -reindex from scratch and it stuck.

just delete the blockchain info from ~/.VERGE/

but dont delete the wallet.dat.

Actually I deleted all blockchain data before running -reindex
I deleted peers.dat, retried and it is on 319382.

Is it the right blockchain height?
https://www.blockexperts.com/xvg says it's 319382 currently but it's age is 18 hours.

Is it correct? or blockchain site is down?
