Previous update below. I apologize for the delay between updates. I was actually trying to (unsuccessfully) keep attention off of this thread and investment opportunity until I got some of the new income streams and growth strategies implemented. I am very close to completion of the important ones at this point, the original post in this thread has been updated with more information.

Btw, can you explain why the revenue for christmas and new year period actually declined this year? On 01/02/2013 you made $1239, while this year it's less than $1,000?

Because peeps look at less porn when they are with Mum and Dad for Christmas?
And why didn't "peeps" care last year?

A quick and dirty update on income, will do this correctly soon.

Revenue so far this period of 1-1-14 through now 1-7-14 at 9:00 PST.

$298.36

New signups are actually up, the revenue sharing isn't at it's average so far which is in no way unusual. Holidays tend to throw things off a bit in that regard and it is always a bit sporadic with large amounts showing up all at once when someone decides to spend money.

Looks like just under 7400 shares have been claimed which means we are at 60% of profit going out until initial outlay has been recuperated. Increases to 80% when 2613 more shares are claimed.

Will update the main post with full information when possible, I am not at my main computer at the moment.

Thanks

Payments sent, will have to update the original post in a little while.

The exchange rate used was 1 BTC = $743 which is where it was when I  calculated everything.

You mean (under normal conditions once shares are sold) you will divide profits by 40%, not 40,000, right?
Also, without being too intrusive, I know you mentioned overhead expenses for hosting of +/- $400/month for hosting. Are there any other expenses involved in your business?  Are there any major challenges or barriers that may cut back on revenue/profits that you forsee ?  Just trying to make a more informed decision.  Smiley Thanks.

The first part was answered in the post just above this one. No other expenses will ever be taken from the 40% that goes to shareholders, everything else will be paid for out of the remaining 60%. I don't see any remaining challenges or barriers, the site has been stable for a long time and it is shared on multiple sites and has decent exposure in Google etc. I actually see it doing much better thanks to some of the things being worked on, some of which were mentioned in the IPO thread.

Thanks

One the IPO is sold, and investors have recouped their investment amount, the profits will be given 60% to the company and 40% to the investors. The 40% is divided into 40,000 shares total.

500 shares / 40,000 shares issued to investors= 1.25%, so you will receive 1.25% of the investors' 40% for life.

500 shares / 100,000 shares total (investor + company) = 0.5%, so you will receive 0.5% of the total company profit for life.

so if i purchase .5 btc worth of shares, what do i get? im a little confused. Thanks Smiley

Hello, and thank you for the question. The details can be found in the XXXProfit IPO thread but I'll give you a summary.

There are 40k shares representing 40% of this business.

At .001 per share .5 BTC would get you 500 shares.

Under Normal Circumstances That Would Mean

When all shares are sold we would take site profit, divide it by 40k and give you your split based on total shares owned.

However

We have some awesome early bird specials to reward investors.

1) We are sharing 40% of the profit with only the shares that have been sold by the end of each period. If only 10% of the offered shares are sold by the end of the December 31st period then the total profit share (40% of total profit) will be divided among those shares only. In that example each would earn 4 times what they would normally.

2) We have some early incentives that raises the total percent of profit shares as milestones are reached. Right now 50% of the overall profit will be shared with current investors. This is in effect until investors have recuperated their full investment. In short, investors get a bigger cut until they have received back the same amount invested and this can goes up to as much as 100% if that milestone is reached.

I am on the road so I typed this response pretty quickly and hope it is easy to understand.

Thanks

Which exchange's rate will you be using when calculating the USD/BTC? And at what time will it be effective? For instance, using Bitstamp's exchange rate on at 12AM PST on the 15th, or using Mt. Gox's exhange rate at 730AM PST on the 2nd/16th when payouts are processed.

Thanks-

Hello,

I actually tossed this around all morning, enough that it cost me some extra bitcoin, and settled on preev.com which seems to be an overall average of exchanges. The exact time will have to be when payments are processed as payments arrive 3 to 4 business days after a pay period ends. Normally I would wait until the payment arrives, convert to BTC and make payments a few days after the period is over but this time I had enough to go ahead and process everything.

Edit: Today the exchange rate was taken at 7:17 PST and at the time the $0.49272 USD per share was equivalent to .0006140 per share.

Thanks

Thanks for the response on that. If you could include the exchange rate in future payment notices (i.e. $795USD/BTC) that would be great.

Will do, and I actually took a screenshot so I'd have the timestamp etc but forgot to include it when someone started banging on my office door as soon as I typed this up.

Thanks
