Exactly..the wife and I are planning a much needed vacation now!
That's funny, because every time my wife complains how hot it is in my home office I tell her she won't be complaining when we're on the beach in Hawaii.
Amen to that...I used to have all my miners in the office, it got too noisy and hot and the wife complained. So I moved them into the garage and soon it was 100 degrees out there and I'm cutting holes in the ceiling and installing extra a/c units, wife complained even more. Finally got the ultimatum and rented a space to host them at. Wife thought I was nuts...until today

I have a question. Are we all working at the same time on the same blocks? Or is it different all the time for every worker? for example if I have 10 minors under one worker and I rent a large miner it then ends, will it continue on the same block or will it all everyone has a different clock to work on. Also if somebody has a very small miner does it chances are way lower than something that they have 10 times that? Or is it just pure luck?
Everyone mines their own random data on the same network block as everyone else and there is no such thing as "progress" in mining. Your chance of finding a block is purely proportional to your hashrate at the time. What you mined before, and what everyone else is mining, has absolutely no effect on your chance of finding one.So you have the same chance with an S1 vs a 100TH rig?
You have the same chance with every hash you do.
If a rig hashes a million times faster, it will have a million times the chance.
Your previous hash has no effect on the next hash.

u can find a block even with s1, or a stick miner!
it depends on luck! obviously if you have 450th then you have 1000 more chances; but if u have no luck, it doesn't matter what hash speed u got!
eligius pool is at 28h without a block, with 8.5ph!

Really please for you, same happened to me - I was walking around with a huge smile for ages.
What I will say is - Make sure you think about what ever you decide to do with every single coin you've earned.
I see you are renting - IF you are re-investing, PLEASE think before you splash out.
Look at other pool statistics and see how their "luck" is going.
ie Ghash.io - 11Ph's has only earned 1 block so far today against yesterdays 4 blocks at 13.5ph's
Kano.is 2ph's so far today 1 block, yesterday 2 blocks.

That is unbelieveable, literally odds defying. To hit one block solo is a long shot, to hit two solo is a longlong shot, but two solo in less than 24 hours? There is no word for those odds. Congrats. Was this rented hash again?
