hey bro..
how do we interpret what the solo.ckpool/users/workername is giving to me?  i am planning to buy 10 s9 and i wanna know if they can all go solo mining, and check whether they are all mining perfectly.

I've added a simple modification to the current cgminer git which is designed to decode the coinbase transactions of a pool for users to confirm where they're mining to. This was done with this pool and ckpool.org in mind for users to be able to confirm what coinbase transactions will be. To use it, one must have a local bitcoind and use their normal login credentials.

For example to check mining to 15qSxP1SQcUX3o4nhkfdbgyoWEFMomJ4rZ:
Code:
./cgminer -o http://localhost:8332 -u user -p pass -o solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u 15qSxP1SQcUX3o4nhkfdbgyoWEFMomJ4rZ --decode
will produce the following output:
Code:
Pool stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333:

You can see the 14.2 bitcoin being directed to 15qSxP1SQcUX3o4nhkfdbgyoWEFMomJ4rZ while the remainder is pointed to the pool address. The OP_RETURN is part of the segwit support.

1ArhbhvpiMJxehzJLJnfD3mh7bQoMKkrap my worker name ? and the ip of my miners ?
I remember seeing a username similar to that but you had double pasted so it was double the length it was supposed to be. Check the miner IP address so I can re-enable it and you can try again.

is down Huh r solo pool Sad
Pool is fine but I have blocked about 5 users who have been trying to log in with invalid usernames repeatedly for days on end. PM me your IP address or post it here and I'll unblock it to see if that's it.

...If you havent already done it find yourself commercial power and write it off at the end of the year...
Location is key. We run about 100TH locally to play with altcoins, solos, new pools, and such. The setup cost for commercial power where we live would require us to solo ~ 3 BTC blocks (~$40kUSD). Tongue

I added a slow (7.5) R4 and another s7-LN sidehacked to 3.6

IF I could get all my 3 avalons to stay on I would be at 40TH

IF ligthfoot can fix the stuff that lit on fire when the exhaust fan came unplugged Im at 50TH

Started off with 25TH in November.

Im not stopping...

Might add an s9 this week.

If you havent already done it find yourself commercial power and write it off at the end of the year...

Im determined to find a block.

You could always take your current S9 and put it on the pool for a few hours a day, or 1 day out of the week.   This will give you a chance at finding a block.

i cant even interpret how much my gpu's hashrate is... all i see in the guiminer is that it is running 1.0 Gh/s

What GPU are you getting 1Ghs out of?  I think Guiminer is incorrect.

If you want to mine with a low hash rate get few USB block Erupters.
my ASUS ROG STRIX gtx 1070 bro

GUIMiner is ancient and I didn't think it supported cuda for Nvidia cards.  I can't believe that an nVidia card would do 1GHs.  AMD cards are, or maybe were, the best cards for mining.  Anyway if your determined to mine with it check out the alt coin section and get some profitable suggestions there.

This has gotten way of topic.
Good Luck.

Your wasting your 1070 (400 dollar) card... either buy a USB miner, or get a S3 for cheap.

yes bro, i put my bitcoin wallet address after the /user/  but it says that it cannot be found on the server
Paste the exact link you're trying (including addy)...

And is it possible that your GPU isn't producing a share high enough for the server to accept (this is Bitcoin, after all)?

my address is found now..
can somebody interpret this?

Yes. You have an abysmal hashrate consistent with trying to mine diamonds with toothpicks, i.e. GPU mining bitcoin. You might find a block before the end of the known universe, but it's unlikely.

CPU and GPU miners are not welcome here, please stop doing so. You are needlessly using up resources for futile mining.

oh ok, so gpu miners are not part of the lottery anymore? i have an s9 but i use it in pool mining.. i thought this was enough to be just part of the lottery. i got lucky with my s9 on my first week by the way.

And if your S9 was pointed here and you found a block you would have been 12.5 BTC richer.  How much did you get for finding it at the pool?

yeah, but i need the daily income bro.. cant just wait for a year just for that 12.5BTC.... i got about .0009BTC for finding it.. now i continue running mg GPU on solo mining, and s9 on pool mining. because I got mouths to feed bro, when i get some money maybe i can go solo mining on the s9, but i think the chances are still low bro. i cant even interpret how much my gpu's hashrate is... all i see in the guiminer is that it is running 1.0 Gh/s
