My analysis is very simple if you are under 3th point it here at ck's pool.
Basically the math is simple if you have 1 watt gear or better the math favors solo mining. Not pool mining.

Havent tried it out yet but i like your concept, as I have been trying to figure out solomining with my rack os s3+ and s3. What would you say the idea amount of GHs does it take to find a block at the current difficulty. Someone should create a online calculator for that one 
look at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Difficulty#How_soon_might_I_expect_to_generate_a_block.3F and put the formula in excel
Or use this http://tpbitcalc.appspot.com/ (it's an old one so you have to input your hashrate in MH/s); after calculating it shows the average time to find a block on the bottom.

I cant figure out how to find my pc with the antminer as i dont have a static ip (i presume thats the issue)
So this makes your idea a much easier way to go
So with that being said, is it better to take say 5 out of 15 units or take a load balance or balance from each unit.

So as I add more miners do I just use the same wallet address? Then when I run the stats it will just show the hashing as one miner right? Thanks
It's up to you. You can aim them all at the same address or you can give them all unique addresses to mine to. It makes no difference to your chance of solving a block, it just changes where your hashing shows up in your private stats, either combined aiming at the one address or per-address.Ok thank you

Yeah, that's why I donated to both ckpool and cgminer. Have been using cgminer on and off for more than a year now and I believe in supporting these kinds of projects. If I use the software and like it then I should donate to support the developers. Actually, I should have donated earlier (maybe not this much ) but somehow never did.

I decided to rent 6.25 TH on betarigs for 3 days (well actually 5 TH for 3 days and 1.25 TH for 2 days; total cost 0.48 BTC) and directed it to CKPOOL. Purely as a gamble and it paid off within a day

That was a hell of a nice payout on your gamble! Congratulations on solving the first block on ckpool as a "regular" miner! Also, awesome job donating some of it right back to ckolivas. Yup, pretty expensive but I got refunded 5.3 BTC saturday from the dicebitco.in debacle which I didn't count on so I thought why not take a chance with 10% of it. Dear "Trademan1", you cannot authorise on this pool with a username like that. You MUST use a valid bitcoin address as your username. The pool will continue to reject your attempts to mine here as you would otherwise end up mining for someone else if I didn't reject you.
