It looks like it's working with cgminer, and it doesn't work with bmminer.

But the problem with "Low worker difficulty ..." exists in both cases.
For example, I see maximum share difficulty 8074 for E9, while Mining Rig Rentals recommend "The OPTIMAL Difficulty range for this rig is 22,119 - 133k". (Port 4334 gives share difficulty 1 000 000, that is too high).

Mr. Con Kolivas, can you check it (or give us some advice) ?

yes i can confirm if you rent on miningrigrentals a rig whit diff +1m it's work on port 3333 and perfect on port 4334 ... if you rent a mining rig under 1mil diff ... you have difficulty on port 4334 (too high diff error) and on port 3333 error too low diff... :/

...If you use an incompatible rental service that refuses to work on port 3333 try port 4334...

I've tried all ports.

... it says "High share difficulty" on port 4334 ...

And this is not problem with Mining Rig Rentals at all, this is a problem with some rigs.

The problem is:
Seems like the miner does not like the DifficultyUndecided

I tried the de and US pool and also other Ports, but i only get a share diff of 4000 or 1000000 at this pool(s).

I also tried to set the difficulty manually with the Password: x --suggest-diff 100000
Seems not to work...

The Difficulty range for this rig is 31,432 - 189k. What can i do? Huh
I am getting 0h/s here  Cry

Hi i have rented a rig for the third time. But this time i have some Problems.

I join to the question.

I've rented 100Th and 250Th on Mining Rig Rentals, and it was OK (just for first 5-7 minutes it says: "Low share difficulty").

But when I've rented just 8,6Th (one R4 Antminer) - it says "High share difficulty" on port 4334, and "Low share difficulty" on all other ports, and hashrate was 0h/s.

Quote
Low Worker Difficulty
One or more workers on this rig has been assigned a share/worker difficulty by your pool that is too low.
Hashrate performance issues may occur.

The OPTIMAL Difficulty range for this rig is 20,023 - 120k
Please either adjust your worker settings at your pool, or change pools if you are unable to do this at your current pool. Thanks!

Which period for a block should we expect?
Unless you have a massive farm with multiple petahash running you should never expect to find a block.

Hello friends,

we are new to solo mining. We currently have 5 Antminer S9 connected. What do you think about our chances? Is it good idea ? Which period for a block should we expect? We have on average 60 TH.

Thanks and have fun. Wink

IF there were no increases in difficulty, which is almost impossibly unlikely, then 60TH would take  2868.73 Days to mine one block.

However difficulty tends to increase by aprox 5-15% every 10 days or so, so in that case the likelyhood is never.

Of course you could get lucky and mine a block in the next second or so.......

That's the nature of luck and mining. More hashpower increases the probability but not the luck.

Happy Birthday to my lovely wife & Mining partner Laura..(User: Goldiblocks)
She is 60 years young today.

We are putting her 10x S9's on solo for her B'day...

There will be many things to celebrate tonight my 60 year's young and the successful mining of solo coin(s). Yee haw!
Which ultimately means acquiring more machines ... no teasing! :*  Cool

You can't fake hashrate if it shows up at the pool. However it is possible for rental hash to be withholding blocks meaning you can never find a block here - it is a limitation of rental hash that the rental service should be monitoring and responsible for, but they take NO responsibility on this. However over the years plenty of hashrate has found blocks with various rental services so probably good to stick with well known rentals.

Which rental service(s) do you recommend?  Roll Eyes

I wouldn't recommend any to be honest, but others here can chime in with their experiences. I know that most rentals come from either nicehash or mining rig rentals.

Hi Mr. Aegean Skipper,

the block was found on this pool. I saw it on that day at https://blockchain.info/de/pools?timespan=8days
And ist seems like they are mining here because if not there would be no statistic.
http://solo.ckpool.org/users/16GsNC3q6KgVXkUX7j7aPxSUdHrt1sN2yN

But I also have a question, maybe somebody else can help me with  Grin

I am buying hashrate to mine here from time to time. I see it as a lottery. I think this pool is very trustful but how can i be sure not be be scammed? Not by this pool but from people selling hashrate and submitting fake shares. I heard things like this happening on a miningpool with xmr.
Can i really trust only the hashrate?  Huh
We have no daily Rewards here, so thats why i am asking...

Hi Mr. Kolivas

I have pointed an antminer S7 towards your pool, nice implementation you got there

Nice one.... must be a regular soloist.... one of the richest BTC address I have seen so far.

Those are Eobot's address. I was quite confused when btc.com was showing the block being relayed by Eobot and not Solock. While checking on blockchain found out that the address is actually one of the Eobot's address.

Regarding Eobot, because i didn't get it
This particular Eobot address was/is hashing in this particular pool or it's a totally different than solo.ckpool.org ?
